  I have had 9 major moves and used most of the big name companies. This was my first experience with a Mayflower company. Mayflower corporate was wonderful in helping me resolve my issues with McLaughlin Transportation, but I wish I had never used McLauglin! They were the worst! I never had to file claims before like I did with this company on so many broken items. The packers they sent were the worst. They pulled one guy out of retirement and you could tell he did not want to be there. He just dumped items in boxes without wrapping, placing in a nice order, etc. Items that should've been boxed, were left as is and put on truck. Then when my goods arrived in Nashua at their place, intead of moving my items into climate controlled storage as promised and paid for, they left my items on the van during June, July and August before they finally put inside. The owner Marty did not apologize and said that he "stored my items." But my response was not as promised and paid for. Corporate Mayflower had a difficult time dealing with him also and I was hoping he would lose his Mayflower status after my nightmare. I wasn't done dealing with them unfortunately for 1 1/2 years. I would never, ever recommend them to anyone. Had Marty apologized and met me half way I would've been fine. But he refused to acknowledge any fault in himself or his staff. The only good person was the driver.

  Said they could do the job. It was a last minute, high stress move, and they knew the closing of the home was contingent upon moving out. So they said they could do it— morning of, they show up and cancel, and don’t even refund the full amount of money. Just the worst.
