1A Auto sold me brake drums for my sons 1997 Toyota truck that are so badly warped they cause the truck to shake violently when the brakes are applied. I requested a refund for these defective brake drums and 1 A Auto refused to refund my money.Business Response

I ordered parts from this company that were, and still are, being falsely advertised as self serviceable parts when in fact they are not. The tie rods I ordered from the company's website are being advertised as greaseable parts in their pictures shown, but they are sealed and non serviceable. When I contacted the company to inform them of this mishap, customer service told me they do not advertise their products with greaseable fittings. I circled the grease fittings in the pictures and placed an arrow at where the fittings are installed. I informed the company to take them down, but are still posted on their site.Business Response

On 05/05/2022 I purchased a set of brake drums and brakes to fit my Chevy 2008 Silverado 4.8. I had them installed on 05/08/2022. The brake drums was bought as new, immediately had problems took truck back to mechanic the drums were out of round had to pay and turn the brake drums this cost me 174 dollars the drums and brakes 108 dollars. I have just found out the drums need to be replaced or turned again 10/14/2022. I filed an complaint with 1A Auto never heard anything from them. I’m on social security retirement can’t afford to keep replacing parts that are supposed to be new!Business Response

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because:i provided my vin number and your customer service representative said you guys sent the wrong part. Mike in Reference ID #: ***********, part of your company already admitted fault of sending the wrong part. As far as I know this part doesn’t fit anything on my truck, I know it doesn’t fit what I ordered it for which is a wheel bearing in the front inner rotor. I have provided images of your company’s customer service admitting the wrong item was sent after I submitted my vin number. I just want my refund and to be done with this situation, it wasn’t my fault that you’re company sent the wrong part, if it was the right one I wouldn’t be wasting my time writing this at all.
