1 starCustomer beware. This business operates without integrity. After almost a year of service, I noted my dumpster wasn't getting serviced every two weeks. In December I called for a missed pick-up, which they scheduled the following week. In January I called for a missed pick-up twice, which they stated that had picked it up , but didn't have the *** location. They then picked it up the following week. The following week of Feb. they missed pick-up again, I called and said they would pick it up the next week. On Feb.11 I called and they stated they picked up the dumpster on 2/11 at 12pm. However, I placed a distinct item in there. I checked on Feb.12, and noted the same exact item in there. I called again, asked to speak with a supervisor and stated that on two different occasions they marked my dumpster was emptied and it wasn't. The following week they call and say we are terminating your service because it too hazardous. In the last year, the traffic pattern on the street never changed, the pick-up location never changed, and the overhead lines were never altered. They determined it is hazard issue though. This is retaliatory because I caught them stealing from me. They deny "stealing", I explained what do you call someone paying for a service, that isn't performed, and then lying saying it was picked up.I then tried to cancel my other contract because I refuse to do business with a company that lacks integrity and doesn't take accountability. The kicker of all this is ***** tells me, You asked us to look into it and they said it was a hazard. The lead customer service *** is blaming me for asking "Why isn't my trash being picked up, when I'm paying for two pick-up a month". Totally neglecting the fact that the truck operator is marking on the paperwork on multiple occasions that It was picked up, when it never was. In closing, this is the type of business practices they partake in. El-****** has better rates ******** *****Review fromAlyssa S

They want you to sign a contract, but still will raise your bill. If you call and complain about your bill being raised, they suggest a NEW contract, but the bill will continually raise each year. Had I known my bill would increase for the first contract I would have never signed. Which I signed with Waste Away. As soon as Win Waste took over they raised the bill for "gas prices" then raised it again a few months later for no reason. It went firm $89 to $119 in a few short months after Win Waste took over. Greedy company.WIN Waste Innovations

To whom it may concern, my name is *******, and I am a supervisor here at Win waste innovations. After review of your account, I want to address some of what you said. In 2023, you as a customer were paying $86.00. This was from 1/1/2023 - 8/1/2023 (during the acquisitional period). After we acquired Waste Away. We did try and maintain things as they were, so that there was a smooth transition. However, upon coming over to Win Waste Innovations, there was an Increase. 9/1/2023 your monthly cost went from $86.00 to $98.98. that was a $12.98 increase on your 2yd container. This was not in relation to any fuel cost at the time but was a standard price increase. Then from 9/1/2023-6/1/2024, we kept this price as such, with no added fees. Starting 7/1/2024, we did another price increase where you saw your cost jump from $98.98 to $119.98. This again was a standard price increase to accommodate for operational costs that have been on a steady rise over the last few years. While I understand the frustration, the contract not only protects you as a customer, to make sure we as a company are providing a service but also covers our company as well as the cost of doing business continues to go up. While we have tried to keep things internal and cover all costs as a company, our business model and operational maintenance can no longer support that and now we have had to put some costs ( fuel, recycling, environmental etc ) towards the customer. This is a standard business practice that all haulers, airlines, mobile providers and more use, to make sure they are able to provide the quality of service you seek. As of right now, I do not see another increase coming down the pipeline, but I do not have the ability nor the position to see such things until they hit. Furthermore, It appears that on 9/16/2024 at 10:57am you called and spoke to one of our care agents. After listening to the call, our agent tried to assist you with and advised you that we could work with you and decrease the cost. They even went a step further and offered to lock this in for 12 months with the added of the cost not going up more than 10% over years 2 and 3 (should they increase). Unfortunately, at the time, you refused the offer, as we couldn't lock the price in for a 3-year period. Also, during the call it was also mentioned about the possibility of cancellation, which the customer care agent advised that you would be legally tied to the contract and would be subject to liquidated damages as it states in section 7 of your contract. This Agreement is binding upon and inure to the benefit of and enforceable by permitted successors and assigns, including any direct or indirect successor by purchase, merger, consolidation or otherwise. We want to continue with you as a customer and want to resolve what we can but there are certain parameters that we as a company have in place that we need to follow. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our care department *************Review fromJennifer R

Ive had this service for 4 weeks. 3 of the 4 weeks they never came to pick up my recycling even after multiple calls. The one week they did pick it up was the week I had to call them twice to complain it was never picked up. I called yesterday and was assured a callback. My bin is still full and I never got a response.WIN Waste Innovations

To whom it may concern, We apologies for the inconvenience the misses may have caused. We have tried twice now, to call you and resolve matters and see what we can do to resolve matters but have only gotten your voicemail. We tried once on 9/7 at 12:17pm and 9/9/2024 at 332pm by myself a supervisor here at Win Waste Innovations. It looks like on 9/9, you had a completed service and things look to be resolved. If they are not, please give us a call at ************.Review fromGerald M

As John k stated this is a ridiculous charge. It is extortion they are asking us to pay for the fees that they might have to pay from the bank. When I questioned Win waste and asked for proof that when I make a bank to bank payment no check direct payment that they receive the next day that they will be charged as they state in their letter I was told by Summer Wanamaker they don’t have proof that the bank charges them anything extra. Also she states this is a standard industry practice most companies offer you a discount for being on autopay through their systems this is the same thing as that only worded differently. yea it’s an extortion charge. I have asked to break the contract and she has stated I will be in default and will be required to pay six months of service.WIN Waste Innovations

To whom it may concern, We as a company and many others charge this admin fee as the cost of processing payments manually are rising and continually doing so. While we understand the frustration a $4.25 additional charge may cause, this is an industry standard practice and companies such as airlines, waste haulers and mobile providers, to name a few, implement this fee as a cost of doing business and a way the company can allocate funds from processing fee(s) to other areas of the business such as maintenance costs, facilities etc. The advantages of automatic bill payments include the ease of automated payment, the ability to avoid late payments, and the potential to maintain or improve your credit score. we are more than happy to work with you regarding a compromise, but the admin charge will be a billable charge moving forward. In accordance with your signed agreement dated 5/29/2024, your terms and conditions clearly outline(s) adding additional charge in section 7 and the termination/cancellation process. While we don't want to cancel the account, please review section 12 as that too outlines what the process will be should you choose to cancel. Hope we can resolve this matter but if we cannot come to an agreement, we will proceed as section 12 outlines should you want to cancel.Review fromJohn K

Recently received notification from WIN Waste Innovations that from 1 September 2024, a $4.25 surcharge will be added to all future ******** for garbage pickup unless we sign up for autopay. This is unwelcome, untimely and coercive and may not be in accordance with applicable laws.WIN Waste Innovations

To whom it may concern, The autopay and or the admin fee, is not in any violation of any state law. Companies like Us, ****************** Apple or any other subscription services, roll out fee(s) such as this due to the fact that the cost of processing payments are consistently rising. This admin fee helps companies like ours, keep the cost of essential waste services affordable. While I understand the frustration over the admin fee, We at Win Waste Innovations can eliminate the charge by having you sign up for the Autopay and the $4.25 will be removed. We are more than happy to work with you in other ways; to possibly offset the admin cost but this would require a call in to our care team, who is standing by to help. Please be advised that the call center is experiencing higher than normal call volume right now but will help you as soon as we canReview fromLevent A

1 starThis company is ridiculous. I do not recommend you to work with these people. They keep charging all kind of fees to my credit card I just realized due to a payment didn't go trough from my credit card. If there is not and issue I wouldn't probably realize they would keep charging. There is $108 fuel charge $525 service fee plus $200 overage fee for, $52environmental fee I doeven know what the heck is that so they are charging me $888 for a month. I got suspicious and got an other quote from different company today it is flat fee $325 a month Also one month didn't go trough from credit card and they are trying to charge me $988 late fee for it I spoke with someone from their office the guy is very rude fighting with me over the phone. Where is the government. Why they don't check on this people ripping others what is happening? I am going to reach out every single place I can about this people. They told me that if I don't pay all these ******** they put a lien on my business. This is a rubbery!Review fromJESSE W

1 starIf I could give this company no stars I would. We had to close our account because our property manager decided they didn't want WIN Waste as a provider. They charged us for 3 months of service because the person handling our account did nothing for 3 months and after calling about a dozen times; we were told they were let go because they had done the same thing to other customers. The only reason our account was finally canceled was because I put in writing in an e-mail that because they weren't calling us back that we considered the account closed even though I called for 3-months prior to do so.After all this they sent us to collections even after admitting that we were right and refused to take back the charges ultimately forcing us to pay $1,800 for service when we had none. The account management team and accounts payable should be ashamed of their behavior with handling these types of situations. After 9 months, we finally have closure only because we were forced to pay so we don't have a bad credit hit on our business.Review fromKatelynn B

1 starThis company has let us down!! We order a dumpster to do construction clean up for a few months and they refused to pick up the dumpster and made me clean it out by hand because they don't allow construction in that type of dumpster which took me weeks in-between other jobs. It's been nothing but issues ever since. Also their sneaky employee locked me into a 5 year contract when I only needed it for 5 months??. I don't recommend them at all!!!Review fromRyan S

They operate in deceptive business techniques. They offered pricing and payment scheduling that they did not adhere to, not even one billing cycle. When I reached out and spoke with a representative my complaints weren't addressed. When I asked a follow up question it’s been ignored.WIN Waste Innovations

While I generally avoid discussing negative experiences, my interactions with WIN Waste Innovations have left me with a sense of obligation to caution others. On two separate occasions, the promised auto-payment setup failed to materialize, resulting in missed trash pickups. As a parent of three young children, the reliability of automated payments is paramount, and the expectation of a "set it and forget it" system has been sorely disappointed.
What compounds this frustration is the company's lack of communication and forewarning about these lapses. Notably, there were no recorded notes in their system after the initial incident, raising concerns about the company's commitment to addressing recurring issues and enhancing customer experiences.
For those considering WIN Waste Innovations, it's prudent to approach with caution. The unreliability of their auto-payment system and the absence of proactive communication have made my interactions with them less than satisfactory. I share these experiences in the hope that others can make informed decisions and potentially avoid similar inconveniences.WIN Waste Innovations

HI ****,
While I understand your frustration, We as a company would like to take a moment and advise what happened. on 3 separate occasions, you and I spoke about the billing situation at length. One call from 5/19/2023 at 437pm and then two more times, once on 6/1/23 at 458pm where we collected payment at that time, and I was able to provide you with portal information so that you could set up recurring payment. The third time we spoke was on 6/9/2023 at 1104am where you had called to check on pick up status and to question the Late payment status. With that conversation, I agreed to credit $110.04 because of all of the issues you had had with the acquisition from UMM to Win Waste Innovations. After that, with possible miscommunication, I was under the impression that you, being supplied with your portal information, would go on and set up recurring payments and therefore I did not set up things on my end. 100% an oversight on my part and I should have set up things to safeguard against situations like this that we find ourselves in. As a Supervisor, I know this is a correctable situation and will be more than happy to discuss matters with either you and/or *** at your convenience. if you can, please call me at 866-946-9278 and allow me to correct this situation and get things back on track.
