I had a mover move my things into storage in Feb 22 and at that time they were charging me $681 per month for storage. I was notified in early Jan 23 those storage charges are going from $681 to $1761 starting Feb 1 so an over 250% increase. I told them I am not going to pay almost triple the price and will move my items out of there location. In speaking with many other moving **mpanies in trying to locate another mover they all agree that the price they are trying to charge me is ridiculous. I let them know I would be moving things out of their storage and **nfirmed what charges there would be be. They said the charge would be $85 per hour for someone to stand by while the other moving ** moves my things out. Once I found another mover and arranged to have things picked up they want to charge me $1846 for other handling out charges as well so instead of paying a few hundred dollars to have someone stand by they want $1846. Tripling my storage and now holding me hostage in getting my stuff out borders on criminal in my opinion, but I am reaching out for your assistance. They will say I paid someone of my monthly storage charges late and they didn't charge me late fee's, but even if you say they are worth $100, it doesn't add up to tripling my rent and now charging me almost $2000 to get my stuff from their warehouse.

************************ moved into storage with Simonik moving and storage February ************************ November of 2022, World Class Moving Systems purchased Simonik Moving and Storage. From November of 2022 through April of 2023 (6 months) no payments from ************************ were received for storage with many attempts of contact. On 4/20/2023 we received a payment for 4 months of storage, we continued to contact ************************ for the overdue payments to no luck. Again on 8/3/2023 a payment of 2 months was received. Still leaving an open balance of 4 months, countless emails and calls about the balance of arrears. In September, we received another check for 4 months and last up to date payment two weeks ago.  We continued with **************************** storage without Late fees, collections or auction of items as a courtesy to him as a Simonik customer. We would have been in our legal right to do so. ************************ also claimed that he should receive every 4th month free in storage. This was not part of any agreement. The agreement was that he would receive the last month of storage free. Which we have also honored. The rate increase was not due to ************************ non payment of his storage, in fact, after our purchase of Simonik Moving and Storage we didn't raise any of our rates for a full year. We did a full market analysis and audit and then completed a review of all of our services. We are required by the *********** to file a pricing Tariff. This has been published. Within the guidelines of that tariff, we have raised our pricing for our services and notified all of our customers of the increase in storage. This went out in January **** to start for February of ****, his claims are that this started in 2023 that is not correct. ************************ continues to contact and berate and threaten our employees when he calls into the office. He continues to make false libelous claims all over the internet. I can't speak to what other moving companies have stated about pricing. We are not holding his storage hostage. ************************ has ****** lbs of storage, he was aware of the charges but called in and asked if there were charges for another moving company to come in and remove the items. He was told that a supervisor would be needed at $85 per hour. That did not negate the other fees of warehouse handling or access fees for the breakout of the items. He canceled his pickup, we did not. If he would like to remove his items on January 30th as his originally requested, he can speak with me directly. I will waive the Warehouse handling and the access fee. We will charge the supervisor fee since the other moving company will be here unwrapping and rewrapping all day in our warehouse. He will be required to pay with a certified check we will not accept a personal check or credit card payment.
