    On 11/6/23, an employee of Affordable Appliance Repair named Vincent came to our house and completed a service on our dishwasher that would not turn on. This service call cost $103. Vincent indicated that we needed a new part for our dishwasher because this same issue would occur again. He asked for a check for $200, which would cover the $103 service call and a deposit of $97 for the part. Vincent indicated that he would order the part and would call when it comes in. The check was cashed by Affordable Appliance on 11/6, but we never received a call back or the part. We have called numerous times and have not had resolution. On one call, the person who answered said that a reimbursement check would be sent to us (this was in December 2023). No one answers the number when you call, and it says the voicemail is full. Please help us to resolve this and receive the $97 that we are owed.

    On Aug 9, 2023 I gave Affordable Appliance $150 check as a down payment for a part needed to fix our refrigerator. Several weeks passed and no word form them. I called many times and got the run around from the owner,. Finally he told me that the part was not to be found and he would send me a check by Labor Day weekend 2023. I have not received anything from them. In addition the owner was very rude and threatened to hang up on me. I realized that I was not given a receipt for my check after ****** ( the repair man) left. I have only my cancelled check (#****) as proof. We have tried to call, leave messages and even emailed the address on ******** but got no response.This took place at a small summer community in Mt ***** ** 07878.The address was ******************************************************* We would appreciate any help you can provide ** to get our money back.Thank you.
