This guy is Spanish. He goes by the name ****, ********* or *****. We found him on ********** Pro Referral page. All the renovations he did were substandard. Within a week of using the bathroom, the floor tiles started moving and making noise when you walk on them. Bathroom faucet was installed wrongly with water coming out of the shower and tap simultaneously. He used the wrong grout for the bathroom wall tiles. He damaged the bathroom vanity sink & the wall closet doors while installing them. Damaged the kitchen sink while working in the unit. Painting was not done perfectly.Other minor fixes that were included in the contract that were not done. He refused to show up when called upon to fix these issues. He said he will be done in 2 weeks. He took a month. He asked for a substantial payment even before starting saying his workers will not work if not paid. Within one or two weeks of the job starting, he was asking for more part payment again saying his workers needed to be paid. He is also a thief. He said he needed some items to complete the work and that he couldnt wait for me to get them. I asked him to go ahead and and buy them but bring the receipts. I was going over the receipts and I found out he had purchased two work tools for himself on one of the receipts. We had trusted and believed that if he was listed with **********, then he must know the job. We reported him to ********** but even they could not get him to fix the issues. I decided to put up this review so that someone else will not fall ********* not be swayed by the listed pictures/videos on his website of jobs he claimed he had done or be swayed by his verbal knowledge of the job with what best brand is needed to be bought to do the job and why. Pictures on his website are likely from other contractors jobs.
