This company is a scam. I got served papers from this company that they were sueing me in court over my *********** card. Yes I owe a past balance. Called **** company to set up ***** t arrangements. Spoke to ******* I had to make a payment that day which I did and then another payment 2 weeks later which I did and then she said my month auto payment arrangements would come our ever month for the amount I agreed to. Gave my banking info etc. To set all this up. Come when the set payments were to come out they took over $140 more than agreed on. Called them as I stopped payment on this auto payment. Got ******* again who set me up on these payments. She denied setting these payments up claiming that either me or my wife went into their website to set them up. Yet I had a payment arrangement letter sitting in front of me from their office stating the agreed amount that was to come out and that I was set as auto payments per the bank account info given. This place is a huge scam. I'm afraid to make anymore payments to them but want to pay this *********** off. Will not speak to this place again making me feel like I am a liar as they are double dipping into my bank account. Can I go back against them for not following a written agreement I have from them.

This firm is EXTREMELY rude and it's fraud at this point. I was not notified of certain terms by phone though they state the calls are recorded. When I advised the woman ***** that I've spoke to and went into an agreement with, she did not care nor try to rectify the issue. They do not try to work with you. It's cheaper at this point to go to court and deal with the fees and take the chance of a better agreement. This company is not there to help. I am getting an attorney involved at this time in hopes this can go back to court and the calls can be pulled and listened to as I was not advised I would continue to be garnished even after the agreement that was made two weeks ago however she told me they just sent the paperwork over TWO DAYS ago. I was not told the turn around time would be 60 to 90 days like she has just advised. PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH ***** AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. JUST GO TO COURT AND HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY ASSIST.

Received a letter from my employer stating that Hayt, Hayt & Landau, LLC filed for wages garnishment. I did not receive any correspondence from them . I filed a claim of exemption, notarized and emailed them within 10 days of receipt from employer. No answer . This is ia debt collector that uses unethical tactics and class law suit was filed against them in the past . No one answers any calls , beware .

Received a civil suit order from them in November 2021 from ************ When I received the letter that I was being summoned to a hearing, I immediately went to their website and set up payment arrangement to pay off this debt. October 4, 2023, almost 2 years later, I received a call from them. I returned the call and left a message for the lady that I was told to contact. I left a message with my name and phone number because they did not leave a specific message for as to why they were calling. On October 5th, I spoke with *******, who was very unpleasant with the way that she presented her reason for calling, on a "recorded line". She stated that she was calling because there was no "formal" agreement with the payment plan that I had set up and it was "taking too long to pay off" and that she needed to know my financials, current workplace and personal information so that the balance would be satisfied sooner. I told her that I had no clue as to what she was even referencing and requested that she send me information in the mail, "we already sent you something" was my response. I told her that I was working, during this call and that I would call her back after I was done working. I did, she did not answer, left another voicemail, with no return call. Found the payment/website and file number changed my payment plan to a substantially higher amount and called them back on October 17th. Still have heard nothing from them. Sent an email October 31st requesting a return call, ONCE AGAIN, because now I am receiving letters in the mail from attorney's wanting to "take on my case" which may or may not be an active case?
