1 starPurchased from Ashley Furniture a new mattress to fit our new bedroom set. We were told we can exchange the mattress if not happy with it in 30 days but have 60 days to try it.We called Ashley approx 3 weeks after trying the mattress and found it uncomfortable. We went in and picked a different Mattress. Then they told us that we have to pick a mattress of same or higher value. They never mentioned that before our purchase. If they told us that, we would have gone somewhere else for a mattress. The mattress we picked is over 3 thousand dollars less and they will not credit us the difference. They want us to use the credit in there store or loose it. When I called customer service I was told on the phone that they would do the exchange for $300.00 and I would not have to pay for what I did not get. Then they called me and changed their minds and said it was not store policy. I do not have that in writing anywhere. The salesman heard her say it on my phone in the store that I would not have to pay for the first mattress.

1 starDo NOT buy any furniture from Ashley Furniture or their affiliates. We have had the worst experience with both their products and their customer service. Our furniture arrived damaged and we needed FIVE separate deliveries PLUS a visit from a technician. My husband needed to take multiple days off of work to be home for all the separate deliveries. In communicating with the store, the delivery company , the customer service line, the technician, and the elusive non-traceable higher up customer care people we kept getting passed around from person to person and the full story never seemed to be documented properly or accurately. At one point, the delivery people even told us that they noticed the damage to our dining room chairs BEFORE they were placed on the truck to be delivered, but they were told they needed to deliver them anyway and should see if we would catch it or complain. The solution we were offered each time we brought up damage during deliveries was to have a technician come out to fix our brand new furniture. Even now, we have pieces that are scuffed, and one dining room chair that looks like the top was painted over to cover up previous damage, but we are fed up with dealing with customer service and my husband is unable to take off work any more to facilitate any more deliveries. Recently, our customer service ticket was “closed” without our knowledge after we had been waiting over 5 weeks to hear back from Ashley after our technician visit. We ordered our furniture at the end of July and are still dealing with the repercussions. We have been asking for months for some kind of compensation and were told that someone would get in touch with us to discuss it, but we have heard nothing. Save yourself the time, energy and frustration. I beg you to go with a different furniture company. Ashley furniture does not deserve your business. Dealing with them is exhausting especially for the extremely low quality of furniture they offer.Review fromKevin M

1 starOne of the worst experiences I've had. The salesmen and everyone in store are great, but after we ordered it has been a nightmare. First off we chose ashley furniture because we didn't want this headache. We spent near $10,000 and on a pair of couches, a sectional for the basement and 2 mattresses with bed frames. Fast forward 2 weeks and the couches, along with one mattress is being delivered. The other mattress ended up being on back order which we were informed a few days before the delivery date. The 2 couches in the living room were easily delivered along with the full size mattress, then the sectional (which I measured the hallway several times before ordering and knew it would fit) comes and they get everything but the corner piece into the room. They were trying to fit it through with the curve against the wall, damaging the sheetrock several times, all they had to do was turn it around. They tell me it needs to be taken apart and I talk to their supervisor about them bringing it back to the warehouse and having their team remove the back of it so it would fit. I go into the back yard and see the piece sitting out there with it going to rain that night. I call my brother he drives an hour and took us about 3 minutes to get it into the room that it didn't fit. A few days later the bedfranes arrive in boxes that looked like they were having a throwing competition with. What do you know, both bedframes are damaged and the one is missing a leg. A week later the final mattress arrives, great. They come rolled up vacuum sealed so I have them leave it in the living room. A few hours later we move the mattress up and open it, SURPRISE, it's the cheapest $800 mattress that they sell. We spent over $2000 on the mattress we ordered, now we have the replacement mattress being shipped after waiting another 3 weeks. 1 starBy far the worst experience. I purchased a 3-piece living room set on 08/16/2023.
Loveseat was delivered a week later along with my dining room set. The entire order totaled $5K.
I was lied to about the delivery of my queen sofa and armchair, called customer service and I even contacted the sales associate who took my order in person and none were helpful. They kept pushing back my delivery dates and lying via email and over the phone.
Finally, after almost 2 months my furniture is being delivered this weekend 10/07/2023.
The customer service experience I received has been by far ATROCIOUS and I will
NEVER do business with Ashley Furniture ever again. The store manager at the Bay Plaza location seemed as if reducing or giving me a discount for the
inconvenience and long wait, the funds were coming out of their pockets. that shows BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Good luck, I will NOT recommend anyone to Ashley Furniture ever.

1 starthey did not want to fix the chair I bought. it had a damage on it and they did not want to replace it either. I bought it and it was delivered damaged. I did not notice the damage due to the fact that they already screwed up the delivery with my order. they were suppose to deliver a dining table and chairs but only showed up with the chair so I was on the phone handling the issue so I did not inspect the product properly. I then spoke to them and unfortunately it is now my responsibility. I'm stuck with a damaged chair. I took time off for the delivery and since they did not deliver I had to take another time off. I used my vacation time. horrible horrible service on their operation side.

1 starPlease do yourself a favor and do not buy furniture from them. My son and I both bought couches, he was barely using his and it broke right away. They came and fixed it and it broke right away again. My couch broke and they came to fix it but didn't do it correctly. They had to come back and 2nd time and still not done correctly. They refused to do anything about it. Both couches are now in the garbage. Bought a VERY expensive mattress for my son. Also broke and is in the garbage. Save yourself the hassle, they do not care about their customers.Review fromMike P

1 starThis company has no control of deliveries and will ignore you and steal your property without impunity. I purchased furniture and had to settle for a delivery 3 weeks later. The delivery people showed up and were rude, condescending and borderline violent. Acting unilaterally to take your property if they don’t like your response to their rudeness. I’ve bought from **** and ******* and even ******** years ago and never in my life experienced this type of poor business practice. I sure hope they realize that this will send their already struggling business into bankruptcy and I hope all others heed my warning and shop elsewhere. I PURCHASE A BED FOR MY SON ON APRIL AND GOT DELIEVER IN MAY, IN LESS THEN FOUR MOUTH THE BED BROKE. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE; THEY TRY TO HELP AND SEND A TECH OUR TO REPLACE THE MENTAL LEGS TO THE BED. IN LESS THAN 24HRS THE BED AND FOUNDATION THAT I HAD BOUGHT FELT APART WHILE MY 13YR OLD SON WAS SLEEPING. HE COULD OFF GOTTEN HURT WITH ALL THE METAL. I CALLED THE 732 NUMBER AND SPOKE TWO FIVE DIFFERENT PERSON WHICH ONE OF THEM WAS THE MANAGER HER NAME IS KEIASHA AND THEIR SOLUTION WAS TO PARCIALLY GIVE ME A CREDIT JUST FOR THE BED, BUT I WOULD HAVE TO STAY WITH THE BROKEN FOUNDATION AND PAID FOR REDELIVERY. WHY DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH AN ITEM THAT IS BROKEN. I PROVIDED ASHLEY WITH PICTURES OF ALL BROKEN ITEMS AND THEY STILL WON'T REPLACE ALL BROKEN ITEMS. I TRY CALLING THE STORE I PURCHASE THE ITEMS AND AFTER SPEAKING WITH ALEXYZ THE STORE OPERATION LEAD SHE TRY TO HELP ME BUT THEM AFTER A FEW HOURS OF NOT HEARING FROM HER I TRY CALLING HER AGAIN AND SHE KEPT REJECTING THE CALL. I HAD TO CALL FROM SOMEONE ELSE NUMBER IN ORDER FOR HER TO ANSWER ME. THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE WHEN I WAS VERY CLEARN WHEN I PURCHASE MY SON BED THAT I NEEDED A BED THAT WOULD BE STEADY AND DIDNT BREAK. I purchased a Couch and love seat for almost $4000.00 at the end of September 2021 after I received them and also paid for a warrantee of $400.00 I called about issues with the couch sagging with the pillows. Once they sent me new inserts the second time they send me stuffing and the third time they told me I was out of warrantee and I had to call for the extended warrantee company. The extended company told me that the pillows were not cover in the warrantee and its funny because I asked about it when I bought them. I then call their corporate office and was told that they have nothing to do with the furniture anymore that my warrantee from the company was expired. I told them in that case to refund my monies for the extended warrantee which they gave me back part of it not ever the entire amount. I finally called an upholster called ***************** in Richmond Hills, ** They picked up my furniture and and had to put in wood braces, webbing to support the seat and replacement inserts in the pillow seats. They did a fantastic job. The service, and quality of Ashley is no better than a 99cent store. The corporate office and the store in ****************, ** did nothing. Anyone who purchases from them should realize that their products are inferior to any cheap store and no support from the company. 1 starI purchased a Coralayne Silver bedroom set. The cost was approximately $6500 including delivery and warranty. The items arrived with flaws on each of the nightstands, bedframe, and dresser. Ashley has no care or concern for or about their customers. They told me I accepted it, so... I didn't realize the drawers didn't open and close properly until I began to place my items in them ( a few days after delivery). I called customer service. They offered me $93 refund and sent a technician to make repairs. The technician left his car running which indicated he had no intentions of working. Several weeks later another technician came, but could not fix the drawer in the dresser closing properly. So, he called someone and they offered another $120 refund. However, he was able to fix the nightstand. This has gone on for over six months. I asked them to just replace the dresser, and of course was told they couldn't. Ashley *****! I will never buy from them again nor would I recommend anyone else to buy from them.
