      If you have any issues with your order dont bother calling because by the time you can reach anyone they will tell you there is nothing you can do. Also website will change promo codes and shipping options continually without reason. Coupons are misleading and flat out lies bc they say instore or online in the fine print but if you try to use instore they tell you they cannot do it same as the costumer service by phone. Chat is also a waste of time doesnt work or says nobody available.

      I tried to order for my two granddaughters and son-in-law and daughter and they charged my car twice it went through my bank said it went through twice and on their end online it said that my billing info was wrong and it wasn't they said it'll be 2 to 3 business days to get both of those transactions back and then I called and the girl was very strange she took down my information but was getting it all wrong and I had to repeat myself and then when I gave my card info she said let me turn off the recorder before you give it to me and said I will send you a screenshot of the information and tell me if it's wrong or right and she got my daughter's number wrong and her address wrong and the date wrong for the delivery and so she went to edit it and then all the sudden she hit submit and everything went blank she said she don't know what happened and then she said well it's time sensitive I didn't understand that and so I told her never mind forget it and then whenever we went to hang up she called out some girl's name

Upon review, there are no orders currently pending in the system with the email address provided. There are several factors that can affect the order in checkout, including billing information that does not match exactly the information as it is saved with your financial institute. Each time the place order button is clicked it will send a temporary (pending) retail authorization hold to your account. These holds will drop if the order did not go through and you will not be charged as we only charge for items once they ship. If you did not receive an email confirmation from us, the order did not go through and any pending hold you see will drop in 2-3 business days. Thank you.

      Should get ZERO stars and be out of business. I placed an online order and the items said they would be delivered on 10/21, I check the site today items haven't shipped no movement on anything. Contacted support and they were disgusting and rude. PLEASE PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! They don't care about anything but the bottom line.

      SPIRIT HALLOWEENs return policy is a joke. They make you jump through hoops to be able to make a return. I called their number and asked for assistance on a return and was told I needed to go to their website to request to chat with a live agent. Once I got a live agent, I was told I needed to go to their website to request a refund, which wasnt allowing me to request a refund. My order status is within their timeframe for returns. Such a joke. Avoid buying from them online.

This function on the website provides guests with a paper slip to include in their return package, listing the items being sent back for refund. This slip also lists the return address to which the package should be sent. Upon review, we do see you corresponded with a live chat agent regarding the 'Start a Return' function not working online. The live chat agent explained this function, and provided the return address for your items to be shipped back so a refund could be issued. As listed in the return policy posted online, pre-paid labels are not provided for returns and the original and return shipping charges are non-refundable. Once the package is brought to your preferred carrier for return shipment, we encourage you to reach out to ************** with the return tracking number to be notated on your order for records; in case anything happens in return transit, this will help the team to further assist you. Thank you.

      I tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt but it is really terrible. Many of the seasonal in-store workers are very nice and helpful. This review is not about them but about the company itself, their online presence, and their customer service. I placed an online order and received the ***** tracking info. It sat in 'label created' status which can mean many things but in my case it clearly means the order processing / WMS system generated my order, took my payment, sent the order info to ***** where they created a label so they could scan the barcode into the system, and then they just promptly lost the order or never picked my order at all. I gave them over a week for me to receive the order in case they just didn't update the tracking but I never received it. Mind you, this is coming a total distance of less than 30 miles from warehouse to me. After numerous dead ends trying to submit an online email query about the order and several dead phone lines that go no where with AI before being auto-hung up on, I finally managed to secure a callback from ***************** The ** *** who called told me the order was stuck in 'label created' status and she requested it to be ***rocessed again. I asked if they could expedite it as there was no way for me to know if they'd just botch it again and after some back and forth where she clearly just wanted to get me off the phone so she could close her ticket, and trying to show off some of her sass and lack of concern for me as a customer as I did begin raising my voice as she kept refuting all the points I was making about why they seemed to show no concern for botching my order, it ended with a terse hang up. I will be asking for a refund as soon as (if) I get the order but I'm definitely buying from somewhere else. This company is awful, and my expectations are pretty low considering it's owned by ************************. ****!

      Poor customer service. They ship orders late and just say they had an issue at the warehouse. They don't do anything to rectify a mistake made on their end. They sell cheap costumes for double the price.

      I ordered an item that was fully in stock and after 7 days of waiting for a tracking number, I had to reach out to customer service to be told that item is out of stock and they were holding my money in case it would become in stock, but that it likely wouldn't, so I could cancel if I wanted. So they were essentially just holding the order open and had no intentions of letting me know my order wouldn't be fulfilled. What a huge let down. Definitely won't be buying from this overpriced joke of a store again.

When an order is placed, it should automatically be assigned electronically (allocation) to a warehouse or other fulfillment site for shipment. Upon further review, it seems there was a processing glitch that prohibited this order from automatic allocation. Records show this order was being manually allocated to fulfillment sites daily to complete the shipment, until the order was cancelled upon request during a live chat correspondence on 10/15/24. No funds were taken for this order as payment is not captured until items ship from the warehouse; please allow 3-5 business days for any pending authorization holds to be released back to you by your financial institute.

      I bought a costume online from them on September 13th and I kinda expected it to take a little while but it's been in ****** since September 24th. I've been waiting a month for this and I get a text today (October 13th) saying that my package can't be sent to my address because it was incorrect. I tried to fix the address, which wasn't wrong in the first place, and it went to the online payment part and it wouldn't let me pay for it to be shipped again. Since I couldn't do that I was going to return the costume because I didn't want it anymore. Apparently the return expired on 10/3/24 when I didn't even have the costume in my possession. I'm extremely upset because I spent about $50 or so and now I'm being told I can't return it. Never buying here again.

      My mother and I visited the *************, ny location on 10/5/24 at approximately 12:00 pm. We were met at the door by two associates who asked my mom if her personal pocketbook had a zipper on it. My mom replied that it was an open tote with no zipper. One of the workers replied that we were unable to enter because the pocket book was large and had no zipper. Please also note there are no signs anywhere in the front that states these rules. We left and went to the ******** location where we were greeted with professionalism and allowed to enter with the same purse that was an issue in valley stream. We purchased over 150 dollars worth of items for my kids with our hard earned money. The blatant discrimination and racism at the valley stream location is disgusting and sad. I will never patronize that location again. Management needs to fix this before you are open to lawsuits for discrimination!
