Since I live in a remote area where any major shopping is at least 2 hours away, I decided to order my kids costumes online and have them shipped (overnight). I ordered them on 10/22/23 and paid for the overnight shipping, and did not receive them until the 27th making it to where my children missed out on a few Halloween festivities. I placed the order with the Pueblo store knowing that they are the closest. I was expecting them to be delivered no later than the 25th considering I ordered on a Sunday. They are refusing to refund the money I paid for overnight shipping stating that I did receive it overnight after **** got the package. It should NOT have taken a week to fill my order and ship it. Simple to say they lost customers.Spirit Halloween

I ordered a costume through the online site because it was not available thru the store. It was the ****** Tightwalker Costume. . Our theme was circus and excited to wear it.. When the package arrived I found it to be an inflable ghost busters marshmallow man costume. To top it off when went to the store to see if I could return it they told me the cut off day was that same day my item arrived. and they wouldn't not accept it. I called the company and they told me the could do nothing on my item as the return date was that particular day and couldn't ensure delivery on time. I sent a claim thru PayPal which is how I paid ( the pay in 4 option) and they never responded to the original claim. Escalated the claim and still nothing. To top it off my money is still being removed from my account to pay for this item.. Never again.Spirit Halloween

WORST EXPERIENCE! I ordered the costume online on 10/23 and paid for 2nd day delivery (to be delivered on Thursday) to be sure it was delivered on time for a Halloween party. The package was not delivered in 2 days and I was told to wait an additional 2 days for it to be delivered on Saturday. I t was not delivered until Monday and i was not able to use it. I called and was told that I was going to receive a credit and that the email being sent to me will serve as confirmation. The emails being sent to me indicate that I should receive my credit in 3-5 business days. When I did not receive the credit, I called back and was told to wait 14 days. I have waited the 14 days and still no credit. I called back spoke with a rep and was told that the wait time to receive the credit is now 21 days which is unheard of for ANY COMPANY. I spoke with a supervisor and was told that the other credits were not applied and that I would need to now wait an additional 14 days to see the credit. WORST EXPERIENCE!! They should not receive any stars, but you have to leave a ************ to leave the review.Spirit Halloween

If I could rate it at no stars I would. Ordered both of my daughters costumes two weeks prior to Halloween shipping said they would be in by the 26th of Halloween. They didnt show up. I waited and reached out to customer Seevice the 31st explained to them that I was expecting my order and did not have the funds to purchase more as these were 120.00$ and my daughters were super bummed the wouldnt have costumes the next day. I asked for store credit or something to be able to get them costumes. They replied very coldly that my refund will be processed by the end of the day. Come to find out they break up their refunds in increments which Ive never saw before. So its now November 15th and Ive received ***** back from them. I will NEVER order from them again. There sizes run small and the quality is s*** Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!Spirit Halloween

Do not go to spirit Halloween on *************** or ********** in ************ **************. The manager is a racist. She followed ** and others around in the store harassing ** and other African *********. She called the so called security guard which I think she found off the streets. Shes mad because she thought she could talk to me like I was a child. When I got her in order she called him. Teach them customers service skills. Next time I will not be so nice. Others said the same. All the stores have rude employees that will target you as soon as you walk in.Spirit Halloween

I ordered 3 knights helmets but only received one. I waited patiently to receive the other 2 helmets because it said if you ordered multiple items they could be shipped separately. I never did receive the other 2 knights helmets. I asked for a refund but they said they will only give me a gift card. This is useless, they are a seasonal store about to close for the year. I DO NOT recommend ordering anything online from them. They have horrible customer service.Spirit Halloween

I had my name on the list for objects they had on this display. My name was towards the top the list nobody else was in front of me to get a item gargoyle. I was told by management I would get one and they would call me. They never called me and I never got one. I called them and complained and they said they would get hold of me and they never did. I would not recommend Spirit Halloween. Go to ********************** or go to their online store. I went to spirit Halloween to purchase a smoke machine and they have it advertised 50 percent off entire store. There was no other signs there. I took lots of pics which we sent to corporate. The manager for the store told me that they were not 50 % off and I told them your sign says entire store 50% off and her response was I did not make the signs. We contacted corporate and told them over the phone and through email. We ended up going to Party City and they had the smoke machine cheaper with a 50% off. The 400 amp on sale was for $25.00 and the **** amp was *****. If you go online they have the price displayed which you can buy online or at the store.Spirit Halloween

We purchased a costume for my son from Spirit of Halloween (******************* location in *******) in early October. It's one of those costumes that inflate with an attached battery operated mini-pump. We tested the costume when we got home same day and it worked fine. Halloween day, my son put on the costume and we all went trick or treating. After 5 mins of wearing his costume the pump stopped operating, the fan was making a funny sound (so not related to battery) so it was obvious it was loose/damaged. We had to come back home and take off his costume as you couldn't walk in it without being inflated. So that was it for Halloween for him, stayed home with no costume. I went to the store today Nov 2. to return the costume and explain what happened. The lady working there looked at me and told that that wasn't their problem and that they weren't offering any returns or exchanges. She said I should have come before Oct 31 and I explained her that costume stopped working during Halloween but she said again that wasn't here problem. I told her that they sold me a defective costume which I paid $65 and that I should get some sort of credit or anything to fix. She obviously didn't want to spend d more time with me and told me to leave the store!! I asked her that I wanted to speak to the store manager and she refused to do so. Very rude, impolite, and they obviously don't care about costumers. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! STAY AWAYSpirit Halloween
