      I've bought from spirit Halloween in the past and hadn't had an issue (everything fit). However, never had to return anything, until this year.. This process has been terrible. I've been waiting more than a month for my refund, got placed on hold for over 45 minutes and still didn't even get a confirmation from someone that I would be refunded my *****. The lady just told me, she forwarded it on because its a different department. I will not be buying a costume from them online again for fear of it not fitting and having to go through this process again.

      I will never give money to Spirit Halloween again after I was not allowed to make a return of a costume that had not even been taken out of the shopping bag much less the plastic. My daughters original Halloween plans were cancelled and being a tween, she decided she didnt want to go anymore. The costume was literally untouched. I took it back and they tell me they have a no return policy written at the bottom of the receipt. That would have been nice to know before I purchased the items! This should be something they tell you at check out. Or better yet, accept returns of unopened items! I understand people using them Halloween night then demanding a refund would be a problem but these are brand new in the packaging. What a waste of $65. Never again.

      I went to the Spirit Halloween store on ************************************************* in ****** to purchase a wig in stores out of desperation because my online wig was not supposed to be delivered in time. When I went back to my car (still in the parking lot), I received a notification that my original wig was delivered at home, so I thought I could run back into the store and return the wig because I hadn't even left the parking lot - wrong. Completely unopened and untouched, the store refused to take back the wig. I understand that their return policy states that they cannot accept returns after October 23rd, but I had not left the parking lot and they refused to refund me for something I purchased within 5 minutes of returning. Ridiculous. I will never shop here again.

      I ordered a Halloween costume for my daughter through their online store and paid almost as much as the costume for overnight shipping. Unfortunately, the costume did not come until five days later. When I initially reached out by email to customer service to ask for shipping reimbursement, they didn't respond until two days later and still didn't answer my question about how I would get reimbursed. They only said the costume was on its way. When I tried calling to speak directly with a representative, the automatic system said I could get a call back or have to wait five hours to speak with someone. I chose the call back. BUT--on the call back (which I attempted three times), they would call and hang up once I answered. I have no idea what is going on with this company or why they don't understand the importance of making a wrong a right in order to secure customer loyalty. But I will steer clear from them from now on.

      Purchased costume with 24 hour shipping . Product came after 3 days. They refused to return the product because it was too close to Halloween. Even though they did not ship it on time. Do not buy anything from this store. Their return policy is not clearly visible on their website or on your receipt. A customer should have a right to refuse a product never used and especially if it does not arrive on time.

      I bought my children Halloween costumes. The Charmander costume didn't link to the correct sizing so I made my best guess and ordered Large on October 21. It arrived size *****. On October 25, I ordered Medium and it arrived October 27. I went to the store to return this Medium on October 28 and there was signage everywhere stating "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." I tried to return the Medium online, and after clicking a link, it stated "We are not currently accepting online returns...we can only accept online returns prior to October 23rd, 2023" AT NO POINT IN THE ONLINE ORDERING PROCESS DID THIS BUSINESS STATE ALL SALES ARE FINAL OR WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS PRIOR TO A CERTAIN DATE. Had I know all sales were final, I never would have paid $50 for this costume! All my other online shopping has made it very clear when all sales are final. Thank you.

      Went to the location in ********* ******* and purchased a costume for my son, husband, and I. After getting home we realized the costumes were missing pieces and important parts of costumes we paid about $80 each!!!! I took it to the store the same day and the manager immediately cut me off saying all sales are final. I tried to explain the situation further but things missing and told me no more refunds or exchanges. Okay so I spent $160 for two costumes that arent even complete and management didnt care at all. I will never buy anything here again.

      I ordered on 10/10 and one item out of 14 arrived, I called(7 hour wait, ordered call back and twice was hung up on with dead air.) finally got ahold of someone by waiting on the phone for hours on mute at work, my order was never shipped per the only nice representative I have spoken with. She stated she would overnight me a replacement but unfortunately one of the signs was now out of stock. I bought at buy one get one 50% off. She said the best she could do was give me $5 off. I took it, then, waited again for my order. The order is not here, called again, the supervisor said they sent an email to the warehouse, she said I had two options - wait for the order, refund or they could reship but kept pushing me to refund. By this time - another sign was out of stock - surprise, I then informed them I would no longer need the part of the order that contained the costume hat due to it being for an event that would be over by the time the items arrived, I have facebooked the team who was quick to look up the notes and then stop responding and have been in the chat queue several times, I finally got ahold of someone again today to cancel - sadly! Because I want these items, I want them for the discount price I paid, but, now I have another item out of stock - this should change my order price to have another half off item. So far the agent has placed me on a ************************************************************** return. I am disappointed as this is my favorite store and Ive never had issues like this - Ive now paid $188 for a sign that costs $12, had no help whatsoever and been assured my order was replaced (by the way, they couldnt give me a reason it wasnt shipped except to say it was lost) and then told basically to give up, and its nearing the end of the season so I cant even go in store to replace anything that wont be included in the order if it was even shipped the second time. I want my items or my money and beware - if you ever order online!!!

      I ordered a costume for my son for Halloween. I even paid extra to get it sooner. When the package arrive, it was an adult size costume. A completely different character/costume. I contacted customer service. That was a task. It's like pulling teeth. You have to basically jump through hoops to speak with someone. Then, I finally end up speaking to a nice lady/customer service agent. She offers me a free overnight reship of the costume. That was fine because it would still arrive on time. Almost 2 days pass. Still no costume. Now I have to jump through hoops again. This time I get a flaky customer service agent via chat on the company website. After about 30 mins, I'm told they don't know what happened and it won't arrive in time now so here's a partial refund. So now I'm stuck trying to comfort my very upset child because he doesn't have the costume he wanted so badly. This company is a JOKE. They don't care about their custumers at all. I'm now left with nothing and paying for a mistake they made in the first place.

      Ordered 4 costumes on the 19th with overnight shipping(almost a 170 dollar order). Was told even with overnight shipping to expect them monday the 23rd. Nothing was ever updated with tracking. Called monday to find out what was going on, was hung up on by one agent, another lied about emailing the warehouse to "expedite" my order i already paid to fast track. Talked to a LOVELY human. She was the one who told me she could find no record of an email sent to expedite the order that was now late. She advised me i could get a refund on shipping if my items didnt arrive by wednesday. Waited all of tuesday and wednesday for any updates reguarding my order. Called on wednesday to cancel because at this point i already have 4 disappointed kids and back up costumes. Got the email while on the phone with the agent to cancel that the items i bought that WERE in stock were out of stock and a partial shipment would be sent. I wasnt told this while on the phone. My order was canceled. There was no real customer service and the lies, delays, and lack of any communication or information for the customer is appalling. My youngest first real halloween and one of the last halloweens i will get with my oldest has been filled with rage, sadness and has just been turned into a miserable experience. Whe you charge anywhere from 30 to 80 dollars a costume and close to 50 dollars for over night shipping you should have to follow through with promises that ****** kept. I dont see myself ever giving money to this company again
