JMV Parking Boot Service AKA Lucky Trucking LLC Are scam artists!!!! They wait until you park to put a boot on your car INSTEAD of telling you that certain business or properties do not allow parking to visit other stores or business The proper thing would be to tell someone that parking is not allowed beforehand. Then they say only accept cash or cash app. And since when was a boot price starting at the minimum of $400?

Unethical business they wait for you to step away for one second and make a run for it. The older Male was unprofessional and rude he hurried along as I stepped away for one minute, when I told him it was my car he was booting he then proceeded to lock the boot and charge me 240$.

I took one of my coworkers to Concentra on ******* hwy, dropped him off and parked my car. I went to check on him and came back to eat in my car must've been 2 minutes and noticed I had 2 boots. Woman (******) with ********************* shirt with "JMV" started walking up and told me I had parked illegally, pulled out a menu with prices with matching offenses. Boot removal $400. $200 extra if it gets towed if not paid within the hour, prices go up with tow service and storage. Didn't accept card nor check only cash and cashapp $kennyken157. Apparently a few years back legislation passed to protect consumers from unlawful predatory towing practices where they give you 1 hr, they have to take check or credit card, and they can't charge you an arm and a leg. Many businesses found a loophole by subcontracting boot services away from the tow company and the boot company didn't have to adhere to those towing guidelines. So they can change you an arm and a leg, they only have to wait until you exit the vehicle, and they don't have to take check or credit. I've talked to consumer affairs, Congressman ****** ***** vehicles, and essex county clerk with no help to file a formal complaint since services like these is left to the discretion of the municipality who sides with the business. PREDATORY in all aspects of the business and disgusting that this business is being protected by our very own tax dollars.
