3/3/22: Purchased a Winia refrigerator from ****** in *******, ** $520.51 Warranty 1 year Model: WTE18GCWCD00 Serial No: *****************/**/**: I called into customer service and spoke with **** who requested I email him back a copy of the receipt to begin the warranty process as the fridge was less than a year, no longer working properly and still under warranty.01/25/23: Service Technician ****** came out and diagnosed it as a gasket issue and ordered the parts.02/21/23: Service Technician ****** came out to install gaskets. He said the gaskets were not the problem, but the door was. 03/16/23: When I spoke to ************** at Winia he said the door was out of stock for 3-4 weeks. I expressed that was far too long to wait and unacceptable. He agreed and said he would escalate the matter. He requested we send photos of the defective unit via email so he could forward them to headquarters for a return authorization approval. 03/18/23: I sent a detailed email to ****** along with the photos. 03/23/23: I requested an alternate email I could reach someone at.4/14/2023 my emails have gone unanswered. Its been 94 days thats a refrigerator we purchased under warranty has been out of commission. This whole process has taken far too long. As I said when we spoke wed like a store credit from ******, or our money back. With the misdiagnosis and time loss/no refrigerator, this is not how a customer should be treated. Does ******************** honestly expect their customers to be without a necessity like a refrigerator for 3 months? Please issue a refund/****** credit as you promised. Thank you.Initial Complaint

My wife and I purchased a Kenmore freezer from Lowes in Sept 2022. When the company installed it, they broke one of the legs, completely stripping the threads inside the unit. Then, the unit began just randomly shutting completely off. I checked all the outlets and breakers, the problem was in the unit. On 31 Jan 2023, ******************* came out for a service appointment. The tech stated the unit's inverter board was faulty and the leg was unrepairable. I was told to call Winia Electronics for the next steps. Since 01 Feb 2023, I have reached out to this company, by phone and email, multiple times asking for assistance and what to expect next steps will be. I have received nothing but run around, no returned phone calls, and no closure on what to expect. All of my attempted requests have gone unanswered. I have a freezer full of meat and I am very concerned of losing it all. Please let me know what can be done. Thank you in advance!Initial Complaint

Purchased a new refrigerator 2/3/2023 (Model # WTE21GSWMD). The holes to hold the screws for the door handles are not functional. There is nothing for the s**** to s**** into to hold the door handles. There are 2 screws per door handle. Only one hole has a metal socket for the s**** to s**** into and hold the door in place. The other three have nothing. I called customer service and talked to ****** who said that since it was purchased from ****** Auction there was nothing she could do because they don't recognize this company and as a result Winia will not honor the one year parts & labor warranty. I would like them to send someone out to finish the job that the factory neglected to finish.Initial Complaint

Back in July of 2021 i bought a winia top freezer and 2 days after being delivered it started making a beep beep beep noise all day long/. They do not have a repair facility near me or even in my state so the sent someone from ***** who knew nothing about this fridge,.The guy did something and it stopped beeping for 2 days then back to beeping. I bought a extended warranty from the place i bought it and was told a month later they were not able to insure a fridge with pre existing conditions. like oboma care? Really! So no one will insure this and the manufacturers warranty is up. I want a refund . My freezer foods are thawing and re freezing and food costs are too high to be throwing away food because of their junk refrigerator not operating the way a new one should. I am done calling and emailing I want this replaced but not with one of theirs. They dont fix them here they should not sell them here. I will be contacting the mo attorney generals office too.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Winia refrigerator in 10/2021. The freezer over freezes and the fridge does not cool at all. I contacted Lowes and was advised the product was still covered under the original manufacturer's warranty and was given the information for Winia. I contacted the manufacturer, Winia at ************ on 8/25/22 and was given a case number of ************ and was advised that I would get a call in 5-7 days to schedule a service appointment. I called back on 9/6/22 and was told to allow them a few more days as they had not yet found someone in my area. On 9/12/22 I received a phone call from the servicing company, Service Quick, and was given an appointment for 9/15/22. I was advised I would get a phone call at 9 in morning the day of the appointment with a 2 hour window for the appointment. On 9/14/22 I received a reminder email for the appointment. At 1pm I called the servicing company to ask for status and was advised someone would call me back. I also sent an email and later received an email stating the appointment was cancelled and that I had to call to reschedule. I tried to call the number on the email and was given the run around (apparently this company is a *************** but my product was not ******* and no one seemed to know what to do). I then called Winia to try to get some help and explain what was happening and was told that since the case was now with the servicer I had to deal with them and was hung up on. I tried to call back again thinking maybe the agent made a mistake but was once again hung up on after being told "ma'am we already told you" several times without actually using common sense to listen to me. It was very clear they were going off a script and did not know how to handle anything beyond the script. I called again and was told they reached out to the servicing company and that a supervisor by the name of ***** would call me within an hour. That never happened. I called Winia again today 9/19/22 and was once again hung up on.
