    Didn't call 45 minutes prior to showing up, said he was given the wrong number. Didn't even have a lighter on him and he knew was coming to look at a gas fire place insert! Didn't clean up either. When asked if they had the part, he said no, you can get one from ****** or online and have someone change the part needed, we already knew there was an issue with the control, didn't need someone to charge us ***** to come out and tell us! They didn't even apply the 10% off discount for being a new customer, he had to go in and edit it when I questioned it. Definitely a total rip off company!

    I made a app.for Sunday between 10 & 1:00 pm. They never showed or called. They said the tech. was going to call with a e.t.a. never called. Three times they said the tech would call but never did. They said they would call me back after speaking to their supervisor never called back. I called today to speak to the supervisor and they promised he would call ne back. Never called They treat their customers badly with me waiting all day for them to arrive instead of telling me they weren't coming. Worse business I have ever encountered. Please notify them and tell them what bums they are.Thank you

    I'm so upset. When I booked the appointment I told them that my gas fireplace didn't work and would go out randomly. I was very clear. The technician came out today, had no idea how to fix gas fireplaces and I had to speak into his phone in order to translate because he didn't understand English or what the problem was. He took photos of the fireplace and called his "friend" to help him solve the issue. My options from what I could understand from reading the translator on his phone was a new thermostat or replace the whole fireplace. After I asked him if he understood what he was doing, he put in his translator that he doesn't know how to fix a gas fireplace. I asked him to leave. He put the grate back on the fireplace and now it won't even turn on! I called A1 and they said he was a new technician and needed more training. They said they would send it to the owner, I called twice, and no one has called me back!! Now I have an even more damaged fireplace and no one to help me. Be cautious. I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and put this all over social media. His name is **** if you happen to go with this company. Thankfully I have cameras in my home so I can confirm he was here, and that he was wearing an A1 jacket. This is so unacceptable.Update: I called again today and the supervisor was a total jerk. He said they will not send another tech out. He also told me they will be deleting my information and service request from their database. I asked for the owners name and number, he said he was the highest up I could go. DO NOT USE this place!

    Very dishonest company. They try to scare you with expensive repairs you don't need. But if you do the repairs with them at that very moment is only half of price. (repairs that the fire place does not need). Stay away from this A1 Chimney company.

    I was in a desperate situation with needing a cap replacement and needing a level 2 inspection for my HOA. Thank goodness A1 Chimney was there to get me in quickly and within a timely manner since my HOA was adamant I had my inspection completed by their deadline. The technician called prior to arriving to double check that I'd be home, was very polite when he arrived, and you could tell he knew what he was talking about when I asked a million and one questions. Being a single woman I'm always cautious about not being overcharged for unnecessary repairs or that processes are not being fully explained to me. This tech was patient, answered every question I had with patience, and I felt comfortable moving forward with him doing the work and inspection. A1 Chimney definitely has a new loyal customer.

    Excellent customer service! Was able to get appointment quickly. They arrived on time. They were able to take down several layers of my crumbling bricks on my tall chimney and then cap and seal off on my 2-story house!!! Very professional team! They even hauled off the crumbling bricks too! Highly recommend!
