  You may want to think twice about using your credit card for a down payment on work by this company. This company replaced the galvanized water pipe in my house without a problem about 10 years ago. I hired them to do the same thing with another house this year. They had their work inspected before it was completed and charged the same credit card I had used for the down payment but this time without my consent. The guys they sent our were on time and professional. The current management is questionable.More later.

  The company (formerly "Young's *********** Utilities") had done the exact same job for me about 10 years ago and things had gone smoothly, so I took the reviews here with a grain of salt. The former owner, ******************* (a Master *******), and an apprentice did the work. His ex-wife and her partner now own the business. It is a very different company. The new management charged my card for $500 more than the 51% deposit listed on the contract to replace my galvanized water lines with copper. I didn't know this until I received my credit card bill, or I would have frozen my card then. They scheduled a final inspection without notifying me when about 25% of the work was still not complete, then charged my card again, without my consent, for $6,900. This would have put me over my card's limit if I hadn't just paid it off. They said the job was complete.They also offered to get my insurance company to pay (neither line was broken; just old) and offered financing. That could have increased my insurance premiums and may not have been legit. I would have had to share my SS# for financing, which would have left me vulnerable to additional types of fraud. Look under "credit card" and "insurance" on review sites for other reviews that mention these same issues. The techs who came out were on time, hard working, and professional. They made some errors due to lack of training and supervision (noted in other reviews as well), e.g., not initially putting the waterline next to the sewer line in a sleeve and choosing to dig through the crawlspace rather than alongside the house until they reached the deeper basement. The techs were not licensed plumbers. I never met the person who signed the permit. I don't know if anyone was supervising them. The company tried to charge me for the extra time these mistakes things took. In the end, to make up for their loss, they skipped swapping out the galvanized after the water meter out for copper. They later tried to get me to pay for it as an extra job when it had been included last time. By that point, I was concerned about their ability to do the work at all.As of 5/18/2024, this company holds a home improvement license, but not a plumbing license, despite how it is listed on the ************************ website. One of the owners has a plumbing license under his own name however. They never showed me the permit before submitting it. I did not sign off on it. I got it from the town yesterday. His name was on it.   Young's Water and Sewer fixed a problem with a leak that several other plumbers couldn't find. Office staff was caring and gave me an appointment for the morning after I called. I highly recommend them and will call upon them when the need arises

  Excellent service and support received on my request to install a new gas valve on one of the water heaters in my dual *************** water heater setup. **** was very helpful, professional, very knowledgeable and thorough in his work the whole time.The staff at their phone desk were very prompt and courteous and the price offered for the work was reasonable.

  Measured against my best customer service experiences, this organizations service is top notch. **************** representative was empathic, knowledgeable and professional. Although I would have preferred same day service, arrangements were made to have a service technician at my home the following morning. The technician was also, understanding and professional. He addressed my concern in less than an hour, and along the way provided end user education and training. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

  I do not have enough praise and kind enough words to truly express the wonderful experience I had with Young's Water and Sewer and *****************, personally. When faced with an emergency waterline break at the holidays and on a weekend at my new home, my neighbor and the town employee recommended I call Young's and boy, am I glad I did. My call was immediately returned and a crew was out the next business day. They got to work replacing my waterline right away and in such a professional and trusted manner because of just how knowledgable and the seasoned experience they all had. It didn't end there because just one month later, my sewer line went and of course, I called no other than Young's because of the wonderful, caring familiarity I had already establised with everyone there. I received the exact same service start to finish. But beyond all that, ***************** worked so hard and relentlessly on my behalf filing claims with my homeowners insurance, making sure everything needed was submitted. I would have been truly lost without her. *** personally came out to my home and I had the true priviledge of meeting one of the most whole-hearted, caring and passionate women I have ever met, whom I felt like became family. I will forever be indebted and so grateful to her and Young's Water and Sewer and their 50 years of experience in this field and will recommend them to every person, neighbor, family or friend who finds themself ever in the need of the most trusted plumbers around! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  ******* ********************************************* repaired and replaced my kitchen faucet. They found the leak that the previous plumber could not. The former plumber came three times and I still had a leak under my sink. ******* was very professional. They arrived on time and went right to work. If I need a plumber again I would call them.

  My home warranty company referred me to Young's Water and Sewer to assess a leaking and rusting connection to my hot water heater. The result of the assessment was that I needed a new hot water heater. They worked with the **************** to expediate my approval of a new hot water heater AND arranged for a quick installation of the new tank. No complaints here!

  I had an issue with my toilet not flushing properly. **** came on site and and quickly diagnosed the issue and made the appropriate repairs. Toilet flush is working again as intended.
