    I rented an apartment at one of their properties. While going through the moveout process, I was unable to meet with someone in the office to give them notice of my moveout in a reasonable amount of time as required by my lease, 2 months. Although the office was supposed to be open and staffed, there was never anyone there to fill out the necessary paperwork. By the time I was able to do so, I was within in the two month notification period. This led to a penalty assessed to me for not notifying before the two months. I don't think it is reasonable that I am assessed this penalty considering their employees are the ones who caused it in the first place and want the penalty to be removed and my full security deposit returned to me.

    First, I was initially supposed to move into my apartment on March 1 I was late told that the apartment wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be ready until 15 March. However, I still was required to pay the full month rent and deposit. Second upon moving in my stove, did not work nor did my heat. It was fixed by the maintenance man afterwards I began to smell gas come to find out my stove was not properly installed. Since then I have had other minor inconvenience. However over the weekend I experienced a major problem my bathroom ceiling have been leaking and I know have a large whole I have put in a service request and contacted the office over 5 time with no response. This is quite ridiculous. I’ve been here just a little over 30 days and have experienced so many problems.

    I moved into my apartment with ********* in May of 2023. Since then, I have put in at least four work orders for roaches and my air conditioner not working. I am told they will take care of it, but it has not been fixed. My primary complaint and area of concern is that on July 30th, I was departing the complex, and the gate closed on my car, causing significant damage. I went to the office to ask for assistance and their insurance information and was told that I would need to file through my insurance. I did not think this was fair or right. I asked for their insurance information and was told they did not have that information. I was provided with the corporate office's phone number **************). I have called 10 times and left 10 messages. No one has ever returned my call. I again called the leasing office for an alternative and was provided with an email **************************************** I sent an email on August 11th and have not received a response. On August 15th, I called the leasing office again and received yet another email. ************************************** I sent an email, but I am not hopeful that anyone will respond. I am frustrated and overwhelmed.

    I was a resident at was of their properties in ************ *******. I resided at ********* apartments. My lease was to end on January 2, 2023. On Dec 30th 2022, I went to the leasing office to turn in my keys around 4 pm est. There was a note on the door that stated the office was closed Dec 30th-Jan 2nd and were going to reopen on January 3rd. It led me to having to turn my keys in on January 3rd. As a result I was charged a proration fee for turning in my keys late. Ive called the office and they diverted me to corporate. Ive been calling corporate for a weeks time now and I have not received a returned called after leaving voicemails nor have they generally picked up the phone at the times Ive called. Im seeking help because its not fair to me to be charged when the office was closed for 3 1/2 days that inabled me to turn my keys in on time.

    The previous response about the hole under my sink and water piling up in the sink was not correct. Me working at home has nothing to do with those things. I been made a request for pest control. I was told after I moved in that it would be every other week. This last time I called I was lied to by the rep that I was put down for pest control and only after complaining did I get put down two weeks later. The original complaint was made a month ago. If the management would look at the previous maintenance requests and times I called they would know it took three weeks for the sink issue to be resolved. I was lied to everyday for 3 weeks that someone was coming that day to fix the issues. When it was finally done it was done while working. The original maintenance requests were changed to complete even though no one ever came. The maintenance person told the front desk that they came by,but told me to my face"maybe I didn't ". The issues were not addressed until 3 weeks later. Do not blame the issues actually addressed in the original complaint on me wfh. The maintenance issues just addressed was only as the result of other enforcement, not the move inspection form presented a week after move in,which was two months ago. Those things were just completed Working from home had nothing to do with it. I was given a time frame to ne ready for work, but the maintenance manager did not come when he said he was. His response was,I got busy.The water

    I was a previous tenant of Lantern Hill and moved out 3/1/21. Upon requesting my security deposit, I did not receive a formal letter of reasons the full amount was not refunded. I followed up with the Property manager several times for an itemized list. I received two checks 1st dated 3/8/21 & 2nd dated 4/5/21. I was informed to await depositing checks as the Property manager was working to obtain information. Last email received that property manager was still working on issue. In May 2021 I became ill and was hospitalized for three months. Upon following ** in July/August my emails were not delivered and calls not returned. I attempted to deposit checks (8/2021) and was informed they were expired and request a new one. I've been trying to obtain Schweb Partners contact information and recently located online through BBB. I've contacted the telephone number left messages, last being 8/2/22 and no response. I currently have both expired checks (#**** & ****) and would like to have new ones issued.
