    back in august of 2024 we had them come out to repair our dishwasher. they installed a couple parts, then realized it needed another part. we were told it would take about 3 days. then we were notified that the part was on back order with no time table. we paid them $200. they have not followed up at all. i have called them several times. it has now been 6 months with no dishwasher. at this point i want my money back or they repair it for no extra charges due to their failure. i would have just bought a new one if i had known this about part on back order. horrible communication. i just want this resolved. they have my money and they have had PLENTY of time to solve this matter. thank you

    On April 26, 2024, our LG refrigerator failed and we called the first company we found online, Mr. Appliance. The tech determined that it was the compressor that had failed. We paid $137.55 for the diagnosis and were told that the part would not cost us anything if it was under warranty and should take 3-5 days to arrive. The first compressor came in damaged and another was ordered. On May 9, Mr. Appliance called for a deposit on the repair. In good faith, we paid them in full over the phone. It took until May 16, for the compressor to be installed. The first compressor they installed lasted 12 days and failed on May 28. We lost our second refrigerator/freezer full of food. We called immediately and they said they would order another one. They installed the second compressor on June 4, 2024. It was defective and never worked. We called three times on June 5, to tell them that we were once again without a refrigerator. We were told that we had to speak to the supervisor, who would be in in the afternoon. She never called and when I was finally able to reach her, she said she was busy because she’d been at a meeting off site and everyone was out to lunch, they were short staffed, and she couldn’t do anything until they came back. She said she would call me back, but she never did. To this day I have not heard from anyone at Mr. Appliance. We had to buy a new refrigerator since we had been without one for nearly seven weeks and the repair company abandoned us. We paid them $1590.84 to do a repair that they did not finish and now we must pay for the new appliance. I signed the receipt in good faith before they installed the compressor. Upon reading reviews after the fact, it seems that this company makes a habit of ripping people off. We have since read many cases where they took money and never finished the repairs. They are taking advantage of people in desperate positions. They should be investigated for consumer fraud.

    Initially contacted Mr. Appliance in July of 2023 for a refrigerator that was not working correctly to keep cool. Mr appliance came out and parts were ordered for repair. Repair was completed in August of 2023 after the wrong part was sent and there was back and forth to secure the correct one. Fast forward to May 2024 the same refrigerator problem arises again, and Mr Appliance is contacted. Techician came out on June 12, confirmed it was the same problem and the same parts were ordered for repair. It is now July 22nd and Mr. Appliance cannot confirm the whereabouts of the ordered part nor can they provide an update. They continue to blame their supplier who keeps moving the delivery date out, Mr. Appliance cannot provide a tracking number for the shipment nor are they willing to find the part elsewhere to complete the repair. We have been out of a fridge for 7+ weeks and the manager Nicole told us that she has been through worse during Hurricane Sandy and we can survive. This is not the same situation, there is no natural disaster, this is Mr. Appliance's inability to provide a service that they claim to do. There has been no effort of Mr. Appliance to provide an alternative solution or simply an update. All they say it is an out of the box situation and they do not know what to do.

    The job was to repair or replace kitchen exhaust fan. The office manager from the business quoted ******* and were paid 100% on 9/5/2023. The business took the fan for repairs and brought it back on December 1st, 2023. The repair was not done and told me that they cannot repair the fan. I called the office manager, and she told me that I can only get a store coupon, but no refund. I was not interested in the coupon since they could not fix my problem in the first place. The technician, guaranteed me that he can fix the problem due to his extensive experience and fixed nothing. This case went from Aug 2023 to December 2023.I am asking BBB to investigate this case and help me get my refund for the work that was promised but not done. I will be willing to provide exact names of people I have dealt with from this business.
