      I am a cargo agent and I am formally raising a serious concern regarding Makati Express Cargo, to whom I entrusted the shipment of 735 balikbayan boxes ( a care package) from November 2024 to February 2025.
      To date, only around 40 boxes have been delivered, leaving hundreds of customers in distress. Many of these boxes arrived in the Philippines as early as February 2025, but remain undelivered. I have made repeated attempts to get updates from Makati Express, but the response and action have been severely lacking.

      This delay has not only affected my business and reputation, but has also caused emotional and financial stress to my customers, many of whom were hoping to receive their boxes while visiting family in the Philippines. Some are now threatening legal action against me, even though I have fulfilled my duty to deliver the boxes to Makati Express’s warehouse in New Jersey, USA.

      As a cargo agent, I am deeply alarmed by the lack of transparency and efficiency in the handling and delivery of these shipments. What recourse do agents like me have when freight forwarders fail to deliver on their commitments to the customers?

      My clients and I deserve clarity and accountability. These balikbayan boxes contain gifts and essential goods meant for loved ones in the Philippines. This issue is no longer just a logistical problem — it has become a matter of trust and public service.

      Despite numerous follow-ups with Makati Express, there has been no action, explanation, or assurance. Even phone calls are not answered. Customers are furious, many have threatened to take legal action against me, and I have suffered loss of income and extreme stress as a result of this situation.

      I sincerely ask for your help in looking into this matter and holding Makati Express Cargo accountable for the timely delivery of these shipments.

      MAKATI EXPRESSS ************** HAS BEEN OPERATING AS AN AGENT FOR THE *****************. WE SEND A TOTAL OF 32 BOXES OF WHICH NO ONE KNOWS THE WHERABOUT. ************ IN ************** HAS BEEN PADLOCKED BY THE MANAGEMENT FOR FAILURE TO PAY RENT ON THE OFFICE SPACE THEY RENT. PHONE CALLS WERE MADE BUT NONE HAS ABLE TO PROVIDE BETTER ANSWER ON HOW TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES.

      This Cargo Company had picked up 2 packages from our home way back in Aug to be delivered to my parents in the Philippines, was told it will take 2 months. It's March now and they still have not delivered the package.

      I sent a box for my mom through the Makati Exrpress Cargo service. I dropped the box off at their office in Jersey City on March 15th. The representative stated that it normally takes 2-3 months. It is now the end of July and mother has still yet to receive her box.

      I have emailed their customer service repeatedly with little to no response. There has been no update on where the box is or when it will be delivered or if it even will be delivered.

      I am reaching out here because I cannot seem to get any answers from the company. Please Help!
