  Jackson Hewitt employee *********************** o has been preparing my taxes for years in *********** *****...on 410 and *****************.no problems at all.She is awesome n fast n friendly respectful n has a sense of humor.

  I definitely feel some type of way after this experience. So they advertise a tax advance before the holidays, with the economy and pandemic on top of the holidays like everyone else I'm kinda behind so I figured I'd check it out. Before doing so I did some research, and common narrative is if your refund will be over $6000 you typically get **** and you must do your taxes with them, and obviously there's a loan fee. What they don't tell you is they charge over $400 just to file your taxes, I was expecting maybe $200, I've done my own taxes the last couple years and it takes a little less than an hour so I was taken back. The other thing they don't tell you is they don't tell you in the appointment "You're approved for X are you interested?" No, they file everything have you sign stuff, that they say is for the approval of the loan, which I guess isn't technically a lie but basically about an hour after you leave they send you an email, what I was approved for is not worth paying all those fees, but you can't just decline oh no I had to go through the stack of papers to find the number to call to decline the offer. Which I'm absolutely going to do.I just find it to be shady that they don't give you a number up front, and an immediate chance to take it or not, but instead give you whatever they feel like then you have to call them to say no. I'll put money on it that just like any other company alive I'll be on hold for a while, but I'll definitely be doing it and will never ever use them again. With the small amount they offered vs the outrageous fees I'd be better off just waiting for my taxes and paying everything off then. I did the math it's less by over $100 to just wait and pay late fees, rather than take their offer and not even be close to what I need. Just found it shady

  Jackson hewitt has really upped their training this year they not only do the best for their costumers but also their employee.

  How do you get away with charging someone for 1 hrs. Work 700 dollars ,you all need to post your prices ,no body will ever tell you the prices upfront it's a scam especially if you get money back they think their getting a piece .What a f-----g rip off especially the office at **********.

  2yrs in a row Jackson Hewitt makes you do the work to track down your taxes. I don't understand why I pay them to file my taxes. They cause so much undue stress. Life is already stressful as it is. I will never use their services again. I originally filed on 8/17/2022. On 9/22/2022 they had to file a paper return which has not been submitted because they need my signature. It would have been nice to be informed. Here it is October and I am still tracking....

  **** and dropped off my wife and my w-2's and 1099's and they never filed the return. When I questioned the preparer she gave me attitude and then ghosted us (fortunately for me, I smelled a rat and recorded the calls) and I am still dealing with this because she neglected to file for an extention. I have already reached out to their home office and am waiting for resolve. My lawyer may be getting involved at this point.Would not recommend them at all.
