I purchased an Avalon water cooler and shortly after it stopped dispensing water. Ive been trying to get a hold of the company for over eight months noresponse. I finally got someone to reply to me and they just sent me how to videos I followed everyone of the videos its still not working And they have not offered any help. He purchased an Avalon water filter system a little over 1 year ago. The unit no longer gives cold water. We contacted Avalon customer support and they gave us a 40 percent off offer but it only lasted 2 weeks. We did not have the $$ to purchase another unit within 2 weeks. We believe this is a manufacturer defect because they have said there is nothing they can do about this.Initial Complaint

The "filter" light started blinking 5 months after the unit was purchased. I replaced the filters and pressed the Filter Reset button, but the light still blinks.
Their phone number isn't helpful and their "live chat" link doesn't work, so I emailed them and received a quick response. Unfortunately, their technical advice didn't work and they refused to replace the unit.Initial Complaint

We purchased this dispenser (module A14) in March 2021 for $312, expecting a reliable product with a reasonable lifespan. However, in September 2024, just over three years after purchase, the dispenser began malfunctioning intermittently, refusing to dispense water at times.
We reached out to your support team via email to report the issue and were advised to purchase a cleaning kit and perform a deep cleaning. Despite our reservations—since the issue appeared to be related to the wiring—we followed this advice, purchasing the cleaning kit and attempting the process. Unfortunately, during the cleaning process, it became clear that the wiring issue rendered the cleaning effort futile, making the purchase and time spent entirely wasted.
When we reached out again to seek further assistance, we were informed that Avalon has discontinued this model and is no longer offering support for it. We were told to purchase a new unit. This demonstrates a clear case of planned obsolescence.
For a product of this cost, customers rightfully expect durability and support for a reasonable period. The average lifetime of a water dispenser should be around 10 years. Our unit has not been physically moved since its installation, and yet it has failed in just over three years. This is unacceptable.
As a gesture of goodwill and accountability, I urge Avalon to provide a reasonable resolution, such as a significant discount (70% or more) on a replacement unit. Such action would not only address this issue fairly but also demonstrate that Avalon values its customers and stands by the quality of its products.
If this matter is not resolved appropriately, I feel compelled to share my experience widely to inform other potential buyers about the lack of durability and support for Avalon products. This would include posting reviews on platforms like ******, **** *****, and other review sites.

Purchase a dispensing water cooler. I quit after a short twenty months. I wrote to the company advising that a Comsumer has a right to expect that a product would last longer than twenty months. I went back and forth with the company trying to resolve the issue, they have stopped corresponding. I want either a replacement, a technician to fix it or a huge discount to buy another dispensing cooler. I really do like this cooler. This company knowingly has an issue with the thermostat inside the A3B water cooler, yet they refuse to take care of their consumers. I purchased a water cooler from them approx 3 years ago and now the unit won't work. The water in the tank freezes and it is a very common problem. So common, that they already have a pre-typed response for when it does happen. Absolutely ridiculous that this company does not stand by their product.Initial Complaint

On August 4th 2023 I ordered replacement filters from this company..I didn't choose auto delivery ever few months so on February 4th 2024 I got an email from them saying they changed my credit card $90.09 and new replacement filters and gonna be shipped to me..I called the 800 number they have listed on the website and nobody is there to answer ever you can't even leave a voicemail just emailed so I kept emailing them over over telling them cancel the order I didn't ask for it and cancel auto delivery.. finally a few days later I got an automated email saying the order has been cancelled but I never got an email from customer service and thought the issue has been resolved... today I got an email from them again they changed my credit card $90.09 for order #***** so I called the customer service number and again nobody was there..I emailed the customer service and also new sales telling them I didn't order this cancel it and cancel auto delivery like i asked back in February... what kinda business have nobody to help their customers..I want them to stop charging me every 6 months
