    The correct term for RAI is "Medical Predator". I booked a Cardiac Calcium Test at St. *************** in ********* **, as *************** said they had the best price for this test, which is not covered by insurance. The booking was made over the phone for a total price of $125.00 for which I used my Discover Card. My test went smoothly on 11/16. On 12/9 I received a surprise emailed "Medical Bill" from RAI that looked to me like a phishing effort to get my CC#. Subsequently I received a mailed copy, which verified that RAI was indeed trying to bill me an additional ~$200 on top of the $125 I already paid. Nowhere on the report of test results is the company RAI mentioned. I was not told when booking the test at St. ****** that yet another bill would be forthcoming. I think this falls under the ************ laws for surprise medical billing and I will act accordingly.

    I was double charged for a service. I paid once with a personal credit card and my insurance company paid and they are refusing to give me any refund
