Date of service: 11/06/2023 Amount: $990.00 Business provided: ambulance ride Nature of dispute: We got a bill for the second time, we called after we received the first bill and left a message to update our insurance so it could be billed appropriately. We just received the same bill again. We called to talk to someone to make sure they had the correct insurance information. They said information they can't verify the account and asked for an emailed copy of the birth certificate. When we said we don't feel comfortable sending that over email and are happy to confirm or fix any information they have that is incorrect. They said that's the only way to verify the account is for us to send the birth certificate. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told they weren't allowed to do that. We know our insurance covers 100% of ambulance bills but the company will not let us confirm our insurance and told us they would send our bill to collections. The business has not tried to resolve the problem.

Dear ***:I am a senior citizen and fell in my home on 5/20/2024. I am not able to get up from the floor once I've fallen. I called the local *** in ********* NJ to assist me. I've used them previously for the same thing. The *** asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital. I declined. The *** took my blood pressure without consulting me. The Atlantic Ambulance in ********** Sent me an invoice of $370.44. I called and asked what the charge was for. The rep told me it was for taking my *********************. The *** took my blood pressure only and did it without asking me. The rep also said they would be happy to reduce the bill to $185.00 instead of $370.44!! This is immoral and outrageous. Please help.

On sept 6 I went to summit ******* ***** ****** **** in my own car.
Without consulting me first, a doctor did not even speak to me, an ambulance was called because they needed to close in 10 minutes. When the ambulance workers came i to room, i said what are you doing here? I dont need this and i am not going with you. They insisted on taking a test before i got up and left in my own vehicle. The company has charged me over 1199.00 for this despite the myriad times i explained what happened.

Atlantic Ambulance refuses to go in network with any insurance company forcing patients who are relying on them for help to pay exorbitant prices for their help. I called 911 on 6/4/23 expecting my local rescue squad to show up for help. Instead Atlantic Ambulance showed up 30 minutes later. My insurance company paid them $1188 and according to my EOB I should pay $138. It was a 10 mile ride to the hospital. When I contacted them, they advised me to call my insurance to see if they would pay more money since I didn't choose to have them pick me up. They expect me to pay an additional $552. I was told I could go on a payment plan and to not pay anything that day, they would send me paperwork. I never received the paperwork. So not only am I upset about my bill but they also don't follow through.

I received the bill months ago for a service on 11/27 2022 for $144.17 for my brother *************************** for a trip from ************************* to our home in *******. I have submitted the payment and credit card number many months ago. I keep getting notices to make payment even though I've already submitted my payment by mail. I try to call the main billing number ************ but no one ever picks up. I have tried all the options on the automatic phone answering system but they go nowhere. I'm being threatened with a collection agency by the ambulance company. Please have the company process the payment I sent in previously and have them stop threatening me with a collection agency. FYI I handed the payment envelope directly to the mailman as he pulled up to my street mailbox to ensure that it was not stolen from the mailbox which is a problem we are having in Mendham. Please help thank you.
