    It should be 0. Being charged for a transport from NMC to MMC. $5,400 plus $1,200 was mileage. Less than 37 miles. My husband had to be transported to ********** for an emergency GI bleed. ****** couldnt handle his complex case. My insurance pain in network over $2,400. They are still billing me for the remainder of the balance and more. I now owe almost *****. Who could afford that. I would have driven him myself. It would have cost $3.50 in gas. Now my husband is dying and I have to worry about paying this outrageous charge. He wasnt on a vent, he didnt need critical care. He was awake, talking and still able to walk. I cant imagine how a company can be so greedy.
