Bought a 2015 JeepGC from them. A day or so after driving it off the lot, noticed a clanking sound when going over bumpy roads, not always present but on certain types of roads you hear it. *****, the person who sold it to me offered to have his mechanic at 2 ************* in ********** NJ to inspect it. A few days after talking to *****, noticed the radiator would keep cycling on/off. Over the course of that time I also noticed that the brakes would shudder while driving. I ended up having to get a rental car and dropped the jeep at 2 Brothers for 3 days. 2 Brothers originally said nothing was wrong but then realized I was right when I showed them a video of the oil temperature gauge reaching max levels. They never found the source of the clanking or brake shudder but replaced parts on the brake system, radiator was replaced. I asked Top of the Hill if they inspect cars before buying them and run them through testing before selling them. They said they do but it really doesnt feel like it. Im currently paying around ****** on a used car that has several problems and Ive lost faith in this company and 2 Brothers. ***** got sick and stopped answering calls. The owner **** was barely there. There were at least 5 days I passed by the office and no one was there. Then they had a friend come work with them who wasnt equipped to sort anything out. Its been 2-3 months since I purchased the car and quite frankly I would have been better off going somewhere else. In the midst of all this I feel manipulated to think Im a nuisance for simply trying to explain to them that a car right off the lot should not have 3-4 major issues even if its used. Now my ABS and traction control lights are on and Im wondering if it had anything to do with the repairs done. The fact that 2 Brothers could not figure out the source of half the issues and deflected the others for a while is also concerning. I had to bring video proof that the problems existed before they took me seriously.
