      This provider came to my home to diagnose an appliance repair issue. The technician who came out, suggested a part for my dishwasher that was discontinued eight years ago. They are supposed to be certified by KitchenAid, and should know whether or not parts are still in existence. Only to realize after speaking to KitchenAid directly that it was a different part that I needed and tried a second part which eventually fixed the problem. When I spoke to the owner and explained that they misdiagnosed the issue, he was rude and hung up on me. I called back and he said he did not care and would not refund the service fee.

      Transaction date 9/25/23. Paid $207.87 to Jersey Appliance they were suppose to fix dishwasher. He looked into machine & said it was dirty. A few minutes later He charged me $207.87. He left and I realized he did not repair it. I called Jersey Appliance ************, and he said it would cost me an additional $394.06. I declined because I only paid $415.82 for the dishwasher a year ago. I believe I was over charged in the amount of $142.87. Since he did not repair dishwasher. I can understand the $65.00 service call but that is all. Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me.

      A service technician came to inspect our dishwasher that was not working.The technician said machine was stuck in a wash cycle so he reset it using control panel. No tools were needed or any kind of physical repair..!!!He cleared cycle but when we used it on a full wash cycle the next day, it got stuck again. He said the call out charge was good for 30 days but when I called his office, they said he could not come out to show me what he did to unlock the cycle when he was here. He said he was only a technician and we needed to replace the boards in the machine at a cost of 600 dollars that she said was provided to us by the service manager, ***********Before going to that expense, I asked to honour the 30 day call-out for technician to call out and show me the first step he did to unlock the cycle. The office manager said No and that the technician had give report to office manager, *****, who had wrote the estimate for repair.However, it was the technician who gave me the estimate in my kitchen and said it was only on an advisory basis and if problem came back, within 30 days, he would come back and look at it again.The information in office is different to technician so I fear the intention is to replace at a high cost too quickly. I need a second opinion before going to that expense so they need to come out again and show us the steps to unlock the cycle or give us a refund to get another technician from a different company to look.In meantime, we have disputed their payment with our credit card company..!!
