1 starAvoid at All Costs Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Irresponsible We spent $16,000 on an A/C unit from this company, and it has been nothing short of a disaster. The install took two full days. During that time, they broke our kitchen light and drilled an unnecessary hole in the wall. They then tried, twice, to pay us off in cash instead of taking responsibility. We refused.After installation, we found out the unit takes hours to cool the house. It was dropping only one degree every 30 minutes, even during a dangerous heatwave. We were left sitting in a sweltering home with a two-year-old and a dog. It was completely unsafe and unacceptable.This company has shown no professionalism, no accountability, and no urgency in fixing the situation. 1 starI had a very disappointing experience with Pro Energy Solution. To provide some background, I had a water heater and a furnace (both were installed before I bought the house in 2019), both of which passed inspection at the time. Both units are installed next to each other. In January 2025, I had a new water heater installed by Pro Energy Solution. However, the initial inspection failed due to two issues. While one issue was resolved, the secondan incorrect connection between the water heater relief discharge and the furnace dischargewas not.I scheduled a second inspection, but it failed again for the same reason. The water heater's relief discharge was improperly connected to the furnace's, when by code they should be *********** has now been over six months, and despite calling at least 10 times, I still havent received a resolution. Each time Im told someone will follow up, but no one ever does. The company keeps pointing to a supposed issue with how the furnace was originally set up. But that setup passed inspection back in 2017 and hasn't changed since. It makes no sense to blame an older, approved installation for a mistake made during the new water heater installation.If there truly was an issue with the existing setup, they should have either declined the job or addressed both problems professionally. Instead, they went ahead with the installation, likely just to secure the work, and are now refusing to correct their mistake. Their unwillingness to fix the incorrect discharge connection and constant deflection is unprofessional and extremely frustrating.Review fromKatharine M

1 star****** ********* has threatened legal action against me for a negative review of their company. I had a disappointing experience with Pro Energy Solutions while seeking a quote under the PSE&G Home Performance Program for energy improvements. The representative, ****** *********, failed to mention the need for an audit to qualify for rebates, which was concerning right from the start.****** arrived without a ladder for the attic inspection, raising further red flags. I had several questions about the process, including my request to integrate my crawlspace into the building envelope, but my concerns were disregarded. He didnt even inspect the second attic in my home. Instead, he spent nearly an hour at my dining table without making any real progress, claiming his manager was preparing a package for me, which felt disingenuous.Despite ******** knowledge of building science, he wasted my time seeking basic answers from his manager about a straightforward insulation job. Only after I got up to resume my work did he finally provide an estimate, which was shockingly double the quotes from other contractors who took the time to evaluate my home thoroughly.After a few days, ****** called to follow up, and I expressed my dissatisfaction and that I was waiting for additional quotes. Instead of addressing my requests, he sent a financing offer that required no credit check but did not meet my needs.Overall, this company seems more focused on sales than on providing quality service. Had a bait and switch experience from last November (2023), I agreed to go with *** because the sales *** and included that I would be getting $1K back in rebates to install a new furnace and A/C.Installation went fairly smooth, I even bought the workers lunch because of the length of the job, but they skipped some things and had to come back when inspection failed.After installation, I had several questions about the products that the sales *** did ***ly to and helped ease my mind, but in hindsight, not sure that's the case (biggest concern: installed one product when quoted on another, but was told they were the exact same with just a different decal).Shortly thereafter the rebate paperwork was submitted and I heard nothing back until I called in January. When I called to ask about the status, I was told that it wasn't going to be $1K, but more like $400 and that it was in process.Again, nothing further until I reach out in March, when I was informed that the rebates had been approved.Again, nothing further until May when I called and a manager, ****, actually called me back (first time PES made any contact effort). He said there was a glitch in the system and that he had released my rebates and a check would be on it's way...oh, and that it's not $400, but only $310.Yet again, no check received and nothing further from them until I reached back out at the end of June, the sales *** told me that a manager would be calling me back that day or the next.Guess what, never heard from them, called back again a couple of weeks later and was again told it was being escalated to a manager and provided me with the manager's, **** *****, email address which I sent an email ***** date, 10 months after the installation, there has been no further contact made by ***, no check, and I'm not sure I can even trust the install job because of all of this and the fact that my initial concerns were so very easily dismissed.Personally, I would never use PES again.Pro Energy Solutions

I am very pleased with the entire experience of my ************ whole house water filtration system. From sales to installation everything was professional and simple. The system was expensive, but worth it. I have less rust and calcium deposits in my shower, my hair is softer and the reverse osmosis unit installed under my kitchen sink is wonderful. Coffee tastes better and no need for bottled water anymore. Highly recommend.Pro Energy Solutions

Called ********** for a news central A/c. They answered and sales person came and promised fantastic service. It has been six weeks, A/C does not work; promised and charged for new filter for which I am waiting. Never do business with this company.Pro Energy Solutions

They got a good gift of gab wont stand behind their work. I paid over ****** for a complete Air condition system it included from a to Z il including new flex on the return which was 16 inches 8 inch drops. I had a collapse 16 inch flex tube collapse systems only a year and a half old and come out and temporary repair it. He wants $650 to fix it. I will soon post some pictures, but beware of the owner, ****Pro Energy Solutions

1 starThe initial install of the minisplit system went extremely well. But just under 3 years, one month to be exact I contacted then to come fix an issue under warranty. Its now 2 weeks later after a tech came out and only did a look through the system and charged me $$ for honesty nothing besides looking at the system and checking to see how much freon was left. I have multiple calls into them since to find out what's going on and no response. This is under warranty and needs to be fixed. 3 years labor and 10 years parts. Never going to suggest anyone using them. I am also going to also file a complaint to homedepot who it was purchased through.
