  This whole moving experience has been a literal nightmare from the beginning. We hired America First Movers for our move from ********* area in ** to less than 90 minutes away in **. We hired them because they promised our dates were secured and that the estimate was 100% binding as their website and fb pages advertise. Well little did we know they are a brokerage who sublease the work out to other companies which we were never told about. Well they hired a ** based company BlackBelt Logistics who according to the paper trail i followed has been named and renamed and put into family members names due to the past issues they had. Their own worker told us that they just started up new LLCs to avoid the fees and lawsuits. They have been known as Black belt movers, black belt financial and other similar names. Also has had their DOT license revoked at one point recently. So here begins the nightmare w both these trash ball companies. First we told them we needed our belongings out by Sept 25th so we can close on that home. Well the day before we got a call saying they couldn't make it till the following day. Which apparently according to our contract was our secondary date chosen. Okay fine, well unfortunately they told us they would arrive to pick up location between 11a-3p. Well they finally showed up at 630 pm! To move a 4 bedroom home! Well let me be 100% honest. The owners wife came at 630 to take pictures and the entirety of the crew finally showed around 7pm. They worked about 3-4 hours and suddenly let us know that they couldn't finish the job that evening and would have to come back the following day. Now we were set to close that evening so that pushed our closing back almost 2 days. Which also pushed the closing of our new home back due to needing the funds from house A. Also causing us to have to PAY $430 to be able to stay in the house the extra day. They told us they would return at 9am the following day. So we had to spend a night in a hotel because the furniture was apart. We showed up at 830 that following morning to await their arrival only to have them show up nearly 4 hours late. I will say they the only positive is they did work fast to have everything out of the house by our 5pm deadline on day 2. But sadly they broke a $2000+ bedroom set, they claimed they would have it fixed that they had a friend who could rebuild the piece that broke, but I'll get to the rest of that story later. So following them loading 60% of our belongings on the truck they suddenly claimed our estimated **** Cubic ft was wrong and we had **** Cu ft. And they needed to "renegotiate" the price because they claimed they needed a 2nd truck. Which they wanted US to rent in our name and allow them to drive for unknown amount of time. Heck no that's a huge liability on us. So they ended up renting a small uhaul truck and got it done. Well the price went up **** at that point on day 1, on day 2 they raised it another $2700 which they claimed was a deeply discounted rate because they didn't charge us for the extra moving blankets and for wrapping mirrors (which was included on our punch list along with each piece if furniture they claimed NOT to know about. So our grand total was well over $7,000 from our original estimate of about $4,000. Now you think that after an estimate and confirmation of estimate from ******* firsts OWN employees they would know how to properly estimate a move size. They're running a bait and switch operation. They bait you into one price and switch to a ridiculous price under duress since they already have the majority of your items loaded. Now were at Delivery 5 days after our preferred date of delivery. Ok fine we managed. Black belt sent 2 of the guys that loaded the house along with a 3rd guy who was new. Well the crew he sent was ** who did nothing but talk negative about black belt and the way they handle business and how that day was his last day because he quit. He also proceeded to tell us that they had our belongings in storage w other people's stuff and we now had roaches and fleas in our stuff and also that ******************* the co owner stated that they should deliver our stuff to the dumpster and that he wasn't coming to delivery because he don't want to deal w us since we were upset about all the issues. Plus, We did find bugs in our stuff which is disgusting! We had to bomb the whole house. We had a box of dried goods/food that had exploded everywhere and had tiny little worms crawling in it. Needless to say that whole box of food was trashed at least $200 worth. Also i find it funny they needed 2 trucks at pickup for our belongings since one truck was 60%+ full of other people's stuff! And at delivery they were able to fit all our stuff in ONE truck that they originally claimed wouldn't work. Second the crew was not listening to ************** of where to put things or had it wrapped to the point u couldn't tell what it was and they didn't open it or give us an option to figure out what item was what. They were ******* and dropping things anywhere! So i walked around w my knife and cut things open enough to see that it was in the wrong room and asked them to move it to the correct location which involved them moving items up and down stairs. They were ****** and cussing about it within ear shot of us and my child. While they were moving and entertainment center they asked if our dogs were put away and i said yes not knowing my mother had let them out for a short while. They were teathered on a leash staked to the ground, now my dogs are not mean at all they're just large, black lab, great pyrenese/german shepherd mix who's only 10 months old and a small beagle mix. Well my puppy was startled by them and started barking at them approx 5 ft away and ** got angry and turned to me and said "you told me they were locked up you f****** liar" which i proceeded to tell him he was not going to cuss at me and speak to me like that in my home w my child here. ** then proceeded to literally drop the entertainment center in the lawn causing the shelves to crack and break and the shelving hardware to fly into the lawn and unable to find them. ** then grabbed his crew and jumped in their vehicles pulled in front of me and said "peace out b**** Were done". Leaving at 530 pm w furniture in my driveway and lawn and back patio as well as ALL 4 bedrooms undone, no beds put together, not even so much as unwrapping anything. Not to mention they left WITH the uhaul truck w some of our belongings still in it. They left us high and dry. I took a video immediately after of what they left as well as pictures. I called ******* 1st customer service as well as ********************** belt only to get runaround from each. Black belt when they did answer a call would say they would fix the issue and send help but never called back, never answered a call from us and literally send us to VM immediately. America first customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. They claimed they reached out to CJs room and he told them they had finished the job and that they were continuously moving the same piece of furniture multiple x. Well they did not finish that was a lie i had videos and pictures to prove otherwise and sent them to both companies. Then they proceeded to lie further and say my puppy had bit CJ which was a lie as well because i seen the encounter and my dog never got near enough to him to bite which he wouldn't. So for him to lie about such things is awful. I told her that if that was true he should file a police report and show pictures of his alleged dog bite which shocking he couldn't provide proof of such as it never happened and was looking for any excuse not to get in trouble for not finishing a job they were CONTRACTED TO FINISH! Here we are the following day and no resolution. They did finally send a local crew of contractors out to finish the job who were wonderful. But its 3 days later now and not one return call regarding our missing items! The items they broke were a vintage gum ball machine, broken bed, split the top of a dresser and a chunk of wood missing. Also broke our kitchen table and his the broken piece in our garage under a box (the original crew w CJ not the contractor) they left football prints on a ***** custom king size mattress set and stains. Stains from motor oil on our mattresses that they didn't cover, broke a bunch of knicknacks. And were also MISSING items that they STOLE.. Which consist of an expensive generator, 3-4 very large ******* vases, a bookshelf, a grill that is barely a year old, were missing boxes of other lessons expensive things and they stole Rx medication that is a controlled substance. Needless to say I've made a police report and have already contacted a lawyer who has taken the case. Beware of these 2 fraudulent companies. And of ******************* of Blackbelt logistics.
