    The Rutgers "Tick Testing" program is a scam. They don't actually test the ticks they get and then they make it difficult for you to get the tick you submitted back if you need it to actuality be tested. A pregnant woman found a tick on her head and immediately submitted the tick to Rutgers to test. A week later Rutgers said they weren't going to test it and said she would have to drive over 2 hours to get the tick back instead of just sending the tick back in the mail which costs less than 50 cents. She started experiencing fever and headache but certain tick-carrying diseases won't show up as positive in a blood test for a couple weeks. Rude people and fake program putting people's health at risk.
