      If I could give this airline no stars I would. I guess the one star is because the actual flight process was not bad. But their customer service is an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. My husband and I had a trip booked for last May. I was injured and couldn't fly. We called to move the flight and were told it would be $300 PER FLIGHT to move the flight unless we provided medical documentation. We sent my documents to the email they provided. Now comes over 20 hours of waiting on hold, being transferred, being told our travel agent could only get this magic waiver code to waive the $600 total fee (didn't have a travel agent? we booked the flight through our credit card *****). They told us only ***** would have access to the channels to retrieve the code. Now cue hours on the phone with *****. ***** can't get through (put on hold for hours). So they email them with no answer. We ended up buying a whole new flight hoping to maybe use the original credits another time.
      They finally emailed ***** back 4 MONTHS LATER with the code. ***** called us and told us, but the code was only valid for 72 hours (to book the new flight) and we couldn't get approval from both our jobs in time to book a flight. We also only have 12 months from when we PURCHASED the flight to use it, not from the original flight date. And we don't get extra time for the 4 MONTHS that TAP burned in getting back to us. Now ***** is trying to get in touch with them for another waiver code so we can use our flight by march, which I highly doubt is going to happen. What they should do is give us an additional 4 months to use the flight since their customer service is such an utter mess we couldn't get the medical waiver code they promised us.
      Please don't use TAP. Their customer service is the absolute worst I have EVER experienced in flying. Most airlines its maybe $150 to change your flight and its 12 months from the date of your flight. TAP, get your act together and stop screwing over customers.

      Dear TAP Airlines, I have been dealing with TAP Airlines for my cancellation refund since December of 2021. They would give me small refunds to my account here and there. My final refund balance was $730. On June 22, 2022 I was supposed to get my refund of $730. Instead they only gave me $70.40. I have called weekly wasting hours of my life trying to get my money from them.Each night at 8 pm I email them for my money, and still 8 months later, still trying. I am beyond being patient but this is out of control.Their customer service ***** and so does their airlines, I have never seen anything like it ever.

      They had lost my luggage from a connecting flight. When I got to my final destination I had done everything to **** the bag was missing. When I called the airline they kept directing me different answers on who to contact and wouldn't give me a straight answer on when my bag would be found or if it even would. I needed to purchase clothes as I had none and was on vacation for 10 days. Multiple people told me that if I submitted my receipts online I would get reimbursed. I can not submit complaints online, every time I try to submit, nothing loads. When I called they said that the site must be down but ive been trying for three days at this point and the guy even hung up on me. I have a feeling they tell customer they will reimburse but never do / make it impossible to get reimbursed.

      TAP Air Portugal was ridiculously disorganized. Lost luggage was never informed to me properly, until I had to go back to the airport 5 days after being in ********, *****, search through a warehouse of hundreds of bags. If it wasn't for me going to that airport, I would have never gotten my luggage back. TAP Air Portugal drag on their heals to contact me about the analysis of compensation for having to buy new clothes to survive. They made, what was a very nice trip, extremely stressful. I will never fly TAP again.

      Planes were fine, experience was not. The website and app are basically unusable. We had to beg to get tiny cups of warm water for a 7 hour flight where the cabin air was too warm. Worst, I paid $15 for the "Pack Light" WiFi option which supposedly had a 100 MB **** The most expensive option was $50 or something even more ridiculous. The WiFi hardly worked for checking my email / messages for 10 minutes then completely forgot that I had already paid and asked me to pay again (i.e., barely worked for a total of 10 minutes). I submitted a complaint to Tap Air and they twice refused to refund my money, stating the following: "Cabin equipment is checked regularly for malfunctions. However, it is unfortunately inevitable that things will go wrong from time to time.When a fault arises, our staff will attempt to repair it on the spot whenever possible. However, not all issues can be resolved during the flight and if the aircraft is away from a hub airport or home base, specialist help and spare parts may be harder to locate. Therefore, rather than delay a flight, we will make sure that the fault is repaired as soon as the aircraft returns to base. Hence, we respectfully deny your request for the reimbursement of the Wi-fi purchase."Wonderful customer service. Do not fly.
