The membership is not worth it at all. They have dumb rules that look to ******* you out of the money you spent on them fair and square, and most book titles are cheaper than the price of a credit, so you are losing money on the membership either way. They limit the accumulation of credits, so they can charge you for a credit and not give you a credit if you exceed that limit. Then they pressure you to keep the membership by making you lose your credits if you cancel it. These arbitrary rules make the experience terrible for minimal perks and a form of buying audiobooks that makes you lose money on most audiobook purchases.

If you decide to stop using audible and stope paying for it, you would assume they would close your account but instead they will use anyones debit card without authorization, even if that card does not belong to you. I used a business card on my ****** account for a business purchase and audible went in and used this business card without receiving prior approval. Audible did not have approval to charge someone elses card. This is fraud.

They run a scam - I tried to cancel my membership 3 times, and for some reason, the membershiped got activated again, and I was charged without my knowledge for months. I talked to 2 reps and a manager and they all used long explanations instead of ackowledging they have an issue. Watch your charges with Audible, they make it hard to cancel in the first place.

Unfair billing practices. They increase price if the subscription without emailing the customer to inform them. You do not send an email when a monthly bill is received. If billing history is available on the app it is very difficult to find. I highly recommend not dealing with this ****** company.

They have blatantly misleading advertising on their website. The home **** says: "Thousands of included titles Listen all you want to thousands of included audiobooks and Originals with celebs you love and emerging talent. "Then on a book I was interested it says:"Included with premium plus"However, that book is NOT "included" in the library that you can listen to freely, but must be purchased, with your single monthly token or otherwise with money, even after subscribing. I think specifically indicating that it is "included" clearly suggests it is included in the sense of their own words on their home ****, in the thousands of "included" audiobooks you can listen to all you want. However, it is not, it must be purchased, and this is should be communicated clearly, not in this misleading fashion. Such misleading advertising is not necessary from an entity like Audible or its related companies, and should absolutely not be rewarded or patronized. It just isn't necessary to begin with, but I believe is a clear attempt to trick consumers into buying a membership, thinking the book is included in it, when it must be purchased as well.

I give zero stars. I canceled and they continuously took money out of my account when I called them about it. They said theyd give me a refund that would take 7 to 10 business days and now its 12 days and they claim they sent it to my financial institution, but I called both of my financial institution on file and they have yet to receive anything from Audibles.

****** lets you buy a book in audible but doesnt tell you you cant get a refund unless you have an audible membership which is like $40. So you have to pay for the privilege of returning books you already paid full price for.

Someone do something about this company ! AMAZON allows Audible to steal your updated card information. When I call Amazon they say they are separate and their is nothing they can do about it. When I call Audible they say they are allowed to because they are an AMAZON COMPANY. My son purchased 1 single title off of Audible with our shortly lived Kindle product and them I PAY FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS OF SERVICES. Audible and AMAZON memvers of management both hung up of me when I asked to be refunded for services NOT PROVIDED. AUDIBLE claims they did provide services and I said BUT THEY WERE NOT USED. I gave the analogy it's like a individual coming to you front door and offering you services You say NO ~ but your child answers the door BUT THEN ! STILL GET CHARGED FOR *** services! ALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE SNEAKY BACKDOOR ACCESS THRU AMAZON I have also also asked audible multiple times to cancel my subscription without avail or they actually do but them magically it resubscribes again. Horrible AMAZON is allowing this !!THEY ALSO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND NOT YOUR **** IF THEY CAN..SOMEONE PLEASE START HUGE LAWSUIT AGAINST AUDIBLE !! Minus 1000 stars. Evil evil evil

Company is refusing to let me cancel my own account, stating apple needs to do it. When asking the rep to help me understand why I could not cancel my own account, he mocked me repeatedly.

The website and the app are NOT user-friendly. **************** is subpar. I've been trying to get into my online account and the customer service representative cannot help me for some reason. They can't find my email address even though I receive emails regularly. They kept trying to send me a text message to verify my identity, which I never received. A book I downloaded and was actively listening to, suddenly became locked and I have no longer access to. I will definitely cancel my membership as soon as it I can.
