STAY AWAY Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Sold With ***** Safety Issues I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Honda Pilot from DCH Paramus Honda in August 2023. Since then, *** discovered two extremely concerning issues that raise serious questions about the dealerships inspection and certification process:Missing Subframe Bolts Shortly after purchase, my mechanic found that critical subframe bolts were completely missing from the vehicles front end. This could have been catastrophic. We were driving our infant son in this car, believing it to be safe. I paid out-of-pocket to have the bolts replaced something that should never have happened with a Certified vehicle.Undisclosed Aftermarket Wiring In February 2025, the vehicle suddenly lost acceleration and threw multiple system errors (VSA, EPS, Adaptive Cruise, etc.). A different Honda dealership diagnosed the issue as a short caused by aftermarket lights installed before I purchased the vehicle. I was again forced to cover the repair cost, despite this being a CPO sale.Ive reached out to the dealership multiple times over several months calls, emails, voicemails with limited or no follow-up. No one has provided the *** inspection paperwork, explained how these issues passed certification, or taken accountability. My wife no longer feels safe in the vehicle, and weve stopped putting a child seat in it.This experience has been deeply disappointing and has shaken our trust in Hondas CPO program. I strongly urge other families to think twice before purchasing from this dealership.

I purchased a 2018 Honda Civic in 2021. *** had issues with the car since *** purchased it. I started having issues with the transmission. *** would not honor the contract where they should be responsible for a transmission issue. They want to charge me $8000 for a transmission. I did not have the car 3 years. Im getting an attorney. Do not buy from them. Ho da Cirporation has the report but I have not heard from them yet.

This is not dealership you want to have any kind of business with. My sales *** expressed multiple times he did not care about his job and that his coworkers lied constantly just to close deals. When it came to the paper work he made multiple mistakes and made misleading statements. I struggled for days to get guidance on my lien release letter, leaving countless messages. It got to the point where my registration was about to expire, I had to drive an hour and a half to speak to someone that was willing to help. Only to find out my sales *** was gone and the finance manager was on vacationinformation that the receptionist failed to ********** registration issue was never resolved because they didnt inform me they needed my lien release letter. They issued a temporary registration, and now my registration is expiring again. I faced the same runaround from reception, and when I finally contacted the ** of finance, I got a vague promise of another temporary registration with no explanation.Overall, this dealership is untrustworthy and deceitful. I encountered apathy, rudeness, and a complete lack of professionalism and accountability from all but one employee.

I would give DCH Paramus Honda a zero if possible. Over 3 weeks , I communicated with them over a used mini van. In that time, I sent 10 text messages, almost 1 per day, asking for information they had promised and not followed through with. Last Saturday I put a deposit of $500 to hold the car. They agreed to send final paperwork on Monday, so I could pick up on Tuesday. No response Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, despite my daily outreach. I found out today, Thursday, the car was sold despite the deposit and constant communication. This is less about the car and more about lack of organization, a culture of non-proactive communication, not valuing the customer experience and not respecting a customers time.

This is my first-ever review, and I am proud to give *** and ****** each 5 stars. Both were wonderful to deal with and they made the buying experience comfortable and easy. So far the dealership has been wonderful at working with me on issues discovered with the way the car came. I am hoping this continues so I can continue spreading the good word about this place.

Paramus Honda is a top-flight dealership. The staff is terrific, from sales to service. They go out of their way to be helpful. It's the reason we keep going back to buy and lease our cars. Recently we got a great deal on a new **** CRV Touring. We can't say enough about the sales rep we worked with, *******************. The man is professional, honest, respectful, friendly and helpful, everything you'd hope to find in a car sales person. He knows his products and is diligent in his effort to work toward a reasonable and fair deal. The same goes for Sales Manager *****************. We have worked with both these men in the past and hope to continue to do so in the future. Bottom line; If you want a fair and honest deal with little or no haggling, then DCH Paramus Honda is definitely a place you need to check out. You will not regret it.

I bought a 2018 Honda Fit with Paramus Honda almost three years ago with an added warranty for electrical services. Recently my car started having issues when starting (this also happened when I first purchased the car, after two battery replacements it finally stopped.) I was able to jump the car the first couple of times and then that troubleshooting technique no longer worked. I had to tow the car from *** to **, DCH gave me a laundry list of things to be fixed but it apparently turned out to be a missing fuse and according to them an issue when the new battery I purchased from auto zone. Auto zone retested the battery and said it was the alternator. DCH insists its the battery. I dont know. After the fuse replacement the ran fine until this week when it started having trouble starting again and all of the hazard lights are coming back on. I contacted DCH. They told me the issue is that I used a battery from auto zone instead of Honda which is completely absurd. Im still waiting to hear back from the manager of the location. I also got the battery retested again at auto zone, they continue to say its the alternator. My warranty is up at ********** or in Feb, whichever comes first. My sense is that DCH Honda is trying to run out the clock on the warranty.Lastly, I have zero issues with the actual techs but the service agents at the actual desk are disgusting. They give off an obnoxious and sexist vibe, which is completely condoned by management. *** been told to smile, overheard comments that totally support women are princesses and men should infantilize them, its just gross. I totally support the comments made by another receive here, if youre a woman you are treated with thinly veiled contempt.
