      Original rental was done on February 3rd 8:40 pm for a 12 *************** called to change pick up date only to the 3rd of July instead of the 2nd ****** Advised everything stayed the same just the pick up date, that was done on June 18th went through reservations on the June 28th few days before leaving and they changed my to a 7 passenger ******* Navigator called customer service spoke to ******* who advised they would take 1 day off rental, called on the 30th and spoke to ***** who stated they did not create a profile and she would create the profile and apply a coupon. Go to the location on Tuesday two days before we pick up the guy at the counter says we have no way to apply a coupon and we have no vehicles here go on Thursday, July 3 to pick up the vehicle. The guy owes me you will be charged upfront and gives me a **** expedition which is way smaller than the ******* navigator we rode 2200 miles cramped up with luggage sitting on us. Two kids in car seats had to rent another vehicle for the other five passengers that we're going and budget just wants to keep giving me a runaround first the coupon that doesn't work for the class car that I have then they tell me they'll take a day off my rental so I don't have to pay upfront, but then turns around and charges me upfront. They didn't say they'll take two days off the rental call back to extend the rental due to an emergency and they charge me or tried to charge me $40,181.00 this company is the biggest scam artist ever.

      Worst company I have ever dealt with. Rented a car for 1 day. Picked up on 7/31 and returned it on 8/1. For some reason, the Budget worker did not check the car in. So instead of getting charged for $167.25. I was charged $1,129.37 for 6 days. I've spent almost a year dealing with this issue and got nowhere. Company just doesn't give sh%T about their customers. I've rented from ********************** and **** for years. When I call I can only speak to someone who hardly speaks a lick of English and who simply doesn't care. I hate these large corporations.

      No walkthrough - was not described at the terminal that a walkthrough would not be performed. After a redeye flight, I did not think about it at 6:30am to take pictures. Vehicle had damage already which I noticed after leaving the lot, and there is no guarantee that I will not be held responsible. This isnt how rental car business should be done, and I have never had that kind of experience before where they didnt inspect it with me prior to letting me drive away.

      Budget rental car deploys fraudulent practices showing no customer service or appreciation. Within minutes after accidentally clicking book online I called for a refund. Budgets response front staff and supervisor the reservation cant be cancelled without a $50 charge. No honorable resolution was presented, the agents were beyond rude, and an honest mistake could not be reversed. Again, I called almost instantly after seeing the checkout page had turned into a booking page. I have never experienced such poor customer service.

      I first rented a car on June 17th. I had to extend my rental for three more days after that until June 27th. Before I had to turn the rental back in on 27th, I called Budget to see if I extended again for another five days would I be able to receive a refund. Budget told me I would. The body shop that I was working with told me they were unsure if my car would be ready on the 27th and advised me to extend my rental. I extended it, knowing that if my car was completed early that I would be able to get a refund. I extended my car rental on June 27th at 9:00am. Later that day around 2:30pm, I received a call from the body shop and they said my car was ready. I took my car back to Budget only to be told that I wouldnt be able to get a refund. I now have a rental car for five days that I dont need and Im being charged an extra $460. I did prepay for this rental, but I was told that was the reason why, I wouldve never rented and I feel I shouldnt be punished for that reason, I will never rent from Budget again.

      ******** company decided to change my reservation and charge me 79 a day versus the 41 of the contract. I had to dispute those charges with my bank.

      DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET They Do NOT Honor Reservations Just spent $45 to not rent a car from Budget. Why? Because they decided not to honor my prepaid reservation due to "inventory issues." But they had ALL DAY to call, text, or email me and did nothing. I showed up, 4th in line, only to be told there were no cars.The man in front of me? He didnt have a reservation. But he had his kid with him. I overheard "***" (Budget) tell him no cars were available then suddenly, *** "makes it happen" for him. I watched as he was handed keys to a red SUV and walked away ********** turn at the counter: Im told by ****** (Budget) that my reservation made earlier that day wont be honored. I asked about the guy before me. ****** brushes me off, until I insist on speaking to ***. *** and ****** speak for two minutes. Then suddenly the story changes: "Oh, that guy did have a reservation." No. He didnt. I confirmed it myself by speaking with him outside. *** gave him a car last minute, no reservation.I missed something important for my own child that day. All while Budget played games and handed my car to someone else likely because they thought I wouldn't notice. It is called hypervigilance - I noticed - I overheard - I confirmed. I spent $45 on Ubers to and from Budget, just to be *********** listen:- If youre planning a vacation, Budget might ruin it.- If you need a car for a childs major life event, Budget might rob you of that moment.- If you need to transport someone to medical treatment, pray they survive your interaction with Budget.And worst of all: you wont realize this is a pattern until it happens to you. This isn't rare just read the other reviews. Budget: youve earned this one-star and then some.

      Crooks!! Charging me $450 for excess sand from a rental car in *******?? Think just how insane that is. Oh yeah, never went to beach all week. You are liars, and thieves trying to charge more to clean a car than you do to rent it. What a disgrace!!

      I was told that I could not opt out of getting their insurance and use my own personal insurance. So they charged me$300 more than I expected to pay bc of the added insurance. Their website says you can use your own personal car insurance and then when you get there, they dont accept your insurance.

      Had the worse customer service at this place with a supervisor named ****** who was very hostile, rude and very unprofessional, yelling and over talking me. This isn't how someone should conduct business, black eye on your company!!! Picked car up with 315 miles in gas (pic proof) and returned car with 358 miles in gas, and ****** refuse to check mileage on car, saying it was downstairs and since we had no reciept we were charged extra fee. This is 2025, all she had to do was radio downstairs to have car checked but instead she was belligerent, yelling and unprofessional.
