    I loved being able to purchase a car, while sitting on my back porch, instead of spending all day at a dealership and having to deal with sales tactics, and negotiations.

    My name is ****** ***** and I just cancelled out my service for a 2023 ***** Accord! I been going through this car purchase now almost 3 weeks Ive been totally cooperative with everything that was asked of me and all I ever ask in return was good communication from this company which is at a all time ZERO. I only had good communication with one rep and his name was ****** but then he passed me along to this woman name ******* ****** who thinks Im on her time when without any of us customers they wont have a business but this financial advisor is very delayed as to doing whats deemed necessary to put the customer first as I find myself keep calling and emailing and texting for updates and either she isnt in or in a dayyyyyyyyy longgggggg meeting and never responds back just as today. I keep calling the dealership which Im sure by now they know me well from all the calls but today my money was withdrawn out of my account today for the deposit of $10,499.00 and they going to tell me oh we still have to wait cause its not on there end so when I called my bank they think its a scam and that I shouldnt keep repeating sending this company money as the regional manager for the bank stated that only while its still PENDING THAT it wont show on there end but once its WITHDRAWN out of the account then they for sure definitely have it because its withdrawn into there account and the money is no longer in mine and then I spoke with the bank thats financing the vehicle for me and they stated that I should have had my car by now and that and that even there underwriter name **** has called the dealership for them to get my vehicle out which now the bank is irritated and not wanting to do the service with them which in return aggravates me. Im done with this dealership and was hoping for a great experience which I thought was happening at first but now I regret even calling them I should have gone to Carvana for a better experience

    I wish I could give them higher stars for the car I received but the process of obtaining it was literal h*** I worked with ***************************** who added on warranty without permission, miscommunicated every time we spoke literally, and overall did not value my money or time. I was very optimistic and professional going into this as it was my first time purchasing a vehicle, however, I was misled by employees who seemingly just wanted me off the phone lines. I told everyone Monday that I had a very important trip on Saturday and that my taking possession of the vehicle was crucial, my lender also told Rubycar this as well because for them to begin funding, I would need to be in possession of the vehicle, these sentiments were not taken seriously or upheld and per ********************************* word he did not feel comfortable releasing the vehicle before financing was received because of previous encounters with customers who scammed the company and how it "makes him look".I then was on a line with who I was told was *********'s direct manager to express my frustrations and they expedited the process of me getting my vehicle only for me to find out days later, that they never even started the process! Just lie on the phone!Friday I was frantic and calling around, and now I finally revealed to the team the reason I am taking my trip, my mother's burial is on Saturday. Friday afternoon I got a call from Christian saying my car was ready for pickup finally and he asked that I specifically give the team an additional hour before I head out to pick the vehicle up and he recalls he needs to send my tags. No problem, I pay for my **** and travel to the location 45 minutes out only for ********* to never send me my vehicle temp tags and ghost me and go home for the weekend alongside the woman who handles tags. I missed my mother's burial, the woman who gave me life. Due to Rubycar by AVIS, I do not recommend enough. I read the bad reviews but thought I was different.

    I actually had a good experience overall, so I came back to put some minds at ease, since I had come to these reviews at one point freaked out that I had been scammed.During the online purchase process they ask you what day and time frame you want your vehicle delivered and then after everything is finished, youre told the delivery company will get a hold of you to set up a day and time.Details of my purchase:2023 4Runner Financed with **** Details of post contract signing:Had my vehicle about 10 days after I signed the contract. The 3rd party delivery company was the biggest source of stress, because they didnt give me a time frame. Finally delivered it at 7pm on a Tuesday night.I had some minor concerns with the 4Runner after I recited it regarding some paint chips. They were willing to fix it. 4Runner needed a new battery right after the 7 day warranty was up. **** paid for a new one from my local ****** dealership.Communication with ****:I primarily worked with Ranger and he was great. He was quick to respond and friendly. His customer service regarding my questions was better than average.Registration:The week after I had signed everything I had a virtual meeting with a lady affiliated with Ruby *** to get my state registration signed.I had received my vehicle on 6/3 and had my plates on Monday 6/26.In conclusion my experience with **** *** was not without some stress, which was primarily due to the delivery process and simply the unknown of buying a vehicle online.All in all, it was worth it for me, since the same vehicle with this mileage in my region would have cost me 2k-4k more.I will consider buying a vehicle from them again if Im able to work with Ranger.

    Do not even think about buying car from Ruby ********* my purchase order was cancelled on April, 2-2024 before delivery- ************ customer service and financial department are no where to be found or response to return cancellation purchase check/fund back to *********** auto financing under my name , **** car got the cash and the car on their possession... I got called from *********** for loan payment every day. I filed complaint thru Comsumer protection ***** FTC and will do on BBB after formal letter is completed. still no words from **** as of today. Irresponsible business, worst customer services ever, took the cash/money from finance institute with my credential, kept the car and ran...******************

    I have had the same issues with expired tags, unresponsiveness from the service team. I feel bamboozled because now I am paying for a car that I cant drive because the temporary tags have expired again and no one is responding to my calls or emails. Ive done everything they asked me to do. This is really horrible and I am in the process of seeking legal assistance in this matter because Im unsure of what to do or how to even move forward without any response. Shame on these people and their shady business. DONT DO IT!!!

    Horrible *********** months after buying a car from them, I still do not have license plates and cannot drive the vehicle. As I read online I guess this is typical of them and they do not respond!

    The worst customer service ever! Sold me a car in December. I have expired paper plates and cannot get the title. I have called customer service multiple times. They have a manager who just Blames the Customer! Cannot escalate to anyone who even cares about all the problems. I want to sell it or trade it in but I cant. What is worse is that the offer from RubyCar came from my employers ********** which I stupidly trusted. I am stuck!

    Honestly, looking at rubycar, I was hesitant to work with them, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and the under promised and overdelivered. I was able to get an excellent vehicle at a great price and haven't had any issues so far. I am so thankful for ***** getting me through the process quickly and efficiently.

    Save you some time and money do not go to Ruby **** their website is a nightmare I agree with the reviews because it sounds like the same thing I went threw so just like them once you put the car in the shopping cart it should say sale pending then somebody wants the same car they take you out and give then that car and tell you we can find a slimmer car I don't want that slimmer car I want I pick out their website a mess and from the beginning, they have played a game I don't or will not recommend no human to get a car from this company they are scammers.
