      Xoom Energy LLC cancelled my electricity supply contract with them due to outstanding bills. I subsequently cleared my outstanding bills as well as the late payment fee charged on the outstanding balance. However, Xoom Energy LLC subsequently went ahead to charge me $50 as charge for their cancellation of the contract which I don't agree with. I subsequently reached out to them to inform them of my disagreement with the charge as it was not part of my contract with them should they be the one to cancel the contract. However, rather than address the situation, they resorted to sending my details to ** collections agency who have subsequently written to threaten me with sending my details to the credit bureau for the outstanding $50. I had reached out to the credit bureau to advise them of the situation but they have remained adamant as well. I reached out to Xoom Energy LLC and spoke with their collections agent who made attempt to write-off the amount. However, Xoom reverted that they are unable to cancel the amount in they system and they require me to still pay the balance to clear the amount from their system, which I had responded that it was unreasonable since the complexity in restoring the account was due to their original cancellation. Per my contract Xoom, a cancellation fee will be paid I cancel the contract before the due date. Since this cancellation is not initiated from me but Xoom of their own decision decided to cancel the contract without discussing same with me, I should not be responsible for the cancellation fee, Rather, Xoom should make their own arrangement to absorb such cancellation,
      I have attached various correspondences including their notice of cancellation, copy of my contract agreement, copy of letter from ** and other responses from Xoom.
