    I believe Northern Worldwide *** Lines business model is to provide low initial quotes that entice customers to sign and put a deposit down. Then on moving day - when they know the customer is vulnerable and stressed - to greatly increase the fees. Our original quote was ******* and the final cost was *******. I've called and spoken with two "customer service" representatives at the company. One said he would look into the increased fee and call me back - never did. Second person was condescending and rude. Said I need to present "proof" of my dispute. Neither of them offered any kind of apology to me for my experience nor any other kind of resolution.I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

    Now i have to admit that the price was not the cheapest i found during my search for a moving company from ******** to *****, however let me tell you that Northern World Wide *** Lines was worth every *****. The level of professionalism,attention to detail and overall service from the guys that actually moved me to the customer service. They truly made a stressful process feel effortless and smooth. Thank you guys so much

    Got a quote for 3 bed 2 bath apartment to move from ** to GA at $3,980. Too good to be true. I called back and added an additional mattress and a TV and the sales **** ************ said the quote did not go up. A couple of days before delivery I received a call from a different **** **************** and he asked me to provide a list of all the bulk items that will NOT fit into a box. We did this and the quote went up to $5,380 which is totally acceptable, this sounded like a more accurate estimate. The day of delivery my quote went up to $8,556. They said I had ***** cubic feet instead of my original quote of 842 cubic feet and that I filled up the 26' truck. I called back **** and **** and no call back. Days later I received a call from a customer service rep called ***************** who said I will receive a $400 discount since the quote was off by so much. Gave her my requested delivery date on June 22 for delivery on July 15. This was the last time I had any communication with the company. ***** stopped working there and no one told me. I would call to confirm my delivery and get sent to voicemail and no call back. My delivery day came (a Saturday) and no truck. I had to wait until Monday to call. I had to cry and scream for them to pay attention to me and call me back. They had someone from a different company call me (**** from ********** *** Lines) He didn't want to give me the $400 discount that ***************** had offered and that was another argument; I was livid. I got my delivery 6 days later after my requested day. The truck came and it was only about 40% full. It seems the movers in NY packed everything loosely to charge for more cubic feet. I wish I could upload the pictures that I took so you can see how empty the truck came. I was so disappointed, I really felt ripped off. It's not even about the money, if they had kept me in the loop through every step I would have been ok. They called me a couple of days ago and offered me $250 to remove my bad review and I declined.
