    On April 2, 2025, I sent a wire transfer to this company for coins that I had purchased, ($4,905). To date, I have tried to send them emails, phone calls (voice mail box is full) No one ever answers the phone. They have my money and the coins I thought I was purchasing. This site is a scam and should be marked as such.

    My dispute is similar to the many complaints already filed on your website and concerns a Settlement dated 3/27/2025 which I did not receive paperwork for until 4/1/2025 and for which I wired full payment on 4/3/2025. After repeated attempts to confirm my significant payment was received I was told that it was, and notice had been sent to the shipping department which would provide a tracking number. It is now 4/15/2025 and I have received no further word from ***. This is both a complaint against OKC and BBB, who it seems, has been willing to overlook what clearly is not an isolated situation.

    I am rejecting this response because:  One of  A Kind Coins told me that their shipping policy requires 7-21 days.  After ignoring me for longer than that I received an email May 3rd stating, "The great news is that all outstanding orders, including yours, will be shipped out this week and early next week."  Not only did the shipment not occur, but the company's Chief Operating Officer threatened to "turn my receipt of the coins or a refund request" over to the company's legal department.  My attorney then requested information so that he could speak with OKC's counsel.  That request  has been ignored to date.  Note that OKC is admitting that I am not the only person that has not received merchandise after paying for it much earlier.  By doing a search, it is clear that *** has many similar complaints, including other complaints also rejected on BBB's website.  Note that there are also additional complaints accusing the company of significantly overvaluing merchandise and in cases when merchandise was received, that merchandise was inferior to the description provided by the company.  I also contacted the Auction Platform asking for help with a resolution.  ***** contacted *** on my behalf and did not receive a response.  The *** Internet Crimes Department, the ********************** and my *********************** are gathering information regarding this company.

    March 27, 2025  WonLot 74, described as, Roll of 5 QTY $20 Mixed Gold GEM BU/BU.  (One of a Kind Coins listed value 35,00.00 70,000 USD.)
    April 1, 2025 Received a link to a settlement document
    April 4, 2025 Wired funds to the account provided and verified funds were received the same day. Response from OKC, We have received your wire transfer and have sent your order to the shipping department. They will notify us with tracking in which we will text & email you your tracking number.
    April 13, 2025 response to my concern that I had not yet received a tracking number, We ship 7-21 business days following the clearing of the funds as per our terms and conditions. The shipping department will notify you when your package is on its way with tracking information.
    April 29, 2025 21 days passed with no communication from *** so researched the company and discovered many similar complaints regarding non-communication, non-shipment of goods, along with complaints about extreme overvaluations of items being sold and merchandise quality being less than described.
    May 3, 2023, After filing several complaints I received the following email message:
    Hello,
    I hope youre doing well! I wanted to personally update you on your recent order. Shipping has been delayed slightly due to a recent expansion of our operations weve been upgrading and reorganizing our internal office and fulfillment spaces to better serve our growing customer base.
    The great news is that all outstanding orders,including yours, will be shipped out this week and early next week.
    As an apology for the delay and any confusion, well be including a few extra coins as a free gift with your package.Its our way of saying thank you for your patience and for being a valued part of the One of a Kind Coins community.

    May 8, 2025  Still no shipping information from OKC.  *********** threated to sue me for wanting my money back in the absence of the coins.  He refused correspondence with my counsel.
    May 20, 2025  I received the following message:
    Hello,
    Here is your tracking information: 92681
    Please allow ***** hours for your shipment to be updated in the postal system. Your package is insured & requires signature. We use **** Priority Mailing.

    May 29, 2025, nine days later the ***************** reported the package had been surrendered.
    June 3, 2025 I received the package and took it to my local coin shop to be opened.  The coin dealer examined the coins, which he said were clearly not GEM quality due to scratches on all of the coins.
    Recap:  Time from when my payment was received until my purchase was delivered: 3 months!
    Besides the many repeated lies regarding shipment, OKC misstated the value of the coins, significantly misrepresented the quality of the coins and did not include a few extra coins as a free gift with your package, as promised. *** also insured the package at less than 1/3rd of its value.
    Besides the obvious immaturity of OKC leadership and the companys inability (or deliberate intent) to deliver (or not deliver) I suggest that there are other reputable bullion sellers that deliver products matching their descriptions overnight following payment.  These companies also charge 6 points less premium and dont need legal departments to threaten their customers.  If you dont want to have A One of Kind Day,(or 3 months) avoid this company.

    On 5 Feb 2025 I paid $5,689 for brilliant uncirculated coins.
    It has been over 2 months. No coins delivered.
    I called their phone number many of times no answer!!

    I sent many of emails to get a few back stating blah blah blah, no package.

    This is poor service at its best. Buyer beware.

    I won there auction on Dec. 2, 2024 that was advertised as $100 Morgan silver dollar wax sealed bank bag GEM BU from the Nevada coin hoard. For $5,500. I emailed them to verify that these were in fact GEM grade Morgan's, which in the coin industry is MS65 or better, and they replied they were. After all fees, I wired $7,107 on Dec 10, 2024. I finally got the coins on Jan 14, 2025. Over a month after I paid. I set up my camera and video taped me unpacking coins and pulling out of the bag one at a time to look at them. Then after looked through a loupe to get better looks at them. Not one of them was even close to being considered a GEM as I have these grades in my house from PCGS, NGC, and ANACS grading companies, so it was very easy to tell. In fact none would even grade MS64 and out of the one hundred sent, maybe 5 would of got a MS63, the rest were easily MS62 to MS60. They were full of scratches, and gouge marks. And these coins were looked at before they were put in the bag, as all the coins were only of very few dates and all from Philadelphia mint. There were 32- 1921 coins in which they were minted in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver, yet all were from Philadelphia. That is not random. Had 22- 1886 in which all Philadelphia. So someone looked at these coins, and yet they still said they were Gem coins. Anyone in this business would know for a fact, that none would of been graded a MS65, yet that is what they advertised. That is fraud plain and simple. If the bag came with most being Gem and a few lower grades, I would of been fine with it, but for the whole bag to way lower is totally false advertisement. Huge price value between a MS65 to a MS62. These guys should just advertise as these being BU grade, but then they would not get the big money. They know buy adding GEM, would get people bidding, but know they are not delivering what they say. So IMHO, these guys are pulling a scam on unsuspecting people who don't know coins. I'm glad I know coins.

    I am rejecting this response because: It would cost over $2000 to grade 100 coins, are they going to reimburse if they don't come at ms65 or better?? And can take months to get them back. So, what I will do, I grabbed 5 coins out of the bag, 1921, 1886, 1896, 1887, and a 1884o. So, 5 coins. These should all come back MS65 or better. But I will close case if even 2 come back MS65. I will take pics of the 5 coins and get back to you once I see the grades. Sending 5 should be able to see what condition these coins are in. So, if 40% come back MS65, I will close the case.

    I am rejecting this response because: here are grades. Nothing close to there advertised GEM BU on the auction listing. GEM is considered MS65 or better. In fact one came back details which there is some kind of issue with it, likely it was cleaned at some point. So I would like my money back as these are not even close. 

    For some reason pics will not load, but Iwas able to send Pic to Oneofakindcoin. The grades were of the 6 sent to ICG the place Oneofakindcoin asked me to send to, came back ms60 details, ms61, ms62, ms62, ms62, and ms62. So not even close.

    Paid by electronic check on 10/19/2023 using seamless check, paid $501.50 for a gold coin.One of a kind coins will not answer emails or phone calls, the number associated with the auction goes to voicemail thats not set up and disconnects.Filed a complaint with the ********************** and called seamless check service who put there ability to receive money from them on hold until this is resolved.

    I bought coins on an online auction platform Hibid from Once of A Kind Coins and have not received my coins and have not gotten any replies or responses from One of A Kind Coins. I sent a bank check on 9/1/2023. The bank said it was cashed. The administrator for the auction platform Hibid said they cannot reach them either and the coin company is no longer on their platform.

    The company misrepresented the value of the coins by multiple thousands of dollars. My local coin dealer who is only one of about 230 certified coin experts in the country is willing to testify that the coins are virtually worthless and have been reworked so they appear good to the untrained eye. The company is currently on line with a new auction that continue the wild value claims.

    Prior to this I have never had a problem with this company. On 7-11-23 I purchased 11 items on an auction put on by One of a Kind Coins. On 7-17-23 I sent an e-check to them in the amount of *********. It took a little bit to get part of my order which stated that the rest of the order will be shipped due to the amount of the contents. With in a week or so they sent the 2 bags of Silver Dollars but forgot my one roll of (10) 2.5 Indian gold dollars. The amount of the purchase was ****** plus 18% fee for total of *******. I immediately contacted them and they sent me tracking numbers for a different order. When those came in my (10) 2.5 iNDIANS were not in the shipment. I contacted ****** and she said "IF" any remaining items remain they will be shipped this week. By the end of the week they were not sent nor was I given a tracking number. I contacted her on 8-18-2023 by email and told her that there was no "IF" I have not received my item. Asked that the owner contact me and gave them my phone number. On 8-21-2023 I had not heard from her so I sent another e-mail request to hear from the owner. That afternoon I tried to call the number on the receipt but recording said "box had not been setup" so noway to contact by phone. I would like to receive the merchandise I paid for I good faith. I had also purchased 3 other coins in pervious weeks. Since I became suspicious of this company I contact my credit card company and had them dispute the charges due to the fact of possible fraud. Either give me the merchandise that I purchased as represented or a REFUND. ITEMS HAVE TO BE AS REPRESENTED!! I have pictures of the two shipments with the items I received and the weight of the items with tracking numbers of those shipments.

    I have been on hibid 7 years. I’ve never had any issues. I bid and won on some auctions. During auction I called and questioned there format for bidding. I had some questions after auction and asked how they can verify some things they were selling. They replied they had a note from a dead man? I called hibid and was advised to not pay them. They have numerous complaints. Very shady people who are now calling and physically threatening me. BEWARE and stay far away. I have proof of there emails. I tried to be kind to these people and that doesn’t work. I’ve bid on auctions for 40 years, on eBay for over 20 years. Have 100 percent positive feedback. Don’t even consider dealing with these people
