Orbit installed a new roof and solar system on my property at ********************************************************************* in February, 2022. On May 24, I sent pictures documenting the damage. Each significant rain since has resulted in more damage. They claimed to send a crew out, but never gave me the notice I requested, so I could be on site. I'm patient, but now, since September 6, 2022, I have left several messages to their customer care department on their phone line, without receiving any response.Business Response

ok first we brought solar panales on 7/24/2022 , and payed cash on 7/27 022 ,$ ********* for ************************************** the begin of sept and , the sale man lid to us and said that the solar would be up and runing by the end of sept .well thay forgot to fill with the township for perment , and after meney phone calls they ****** did two weeks later , and them email me on 10/8/022 that all the paper work was subment to PSEG , well thay did not pay the fee that they were too , so on 10/19/022 paper was reject it and send back to orbit , on the 10/24 / 022 they payed the fee but never resimed the forms for the metor to get switch out , i have been calling then and they say someone will get back to you but they don't , well today i called and someone did get back to me . but no answers to help me get my solar up and running , i just want my solar up and running . with no more lies and runaround . when they put in the forms i will have to wait 5 days for the metor to come in and them i will have to wait up to 20 more days before the the metor switch out , and them i will have to wait for orbit to turn it on and God only knows how long that will be . please help me , thank you ******* SitesBusiness Response

I had solar panels installed on my roof with no issues. The process was fairly simple. Once installed, an inspector was supposed to come out and inspect the panels to make sure they are working properly and to change my meter over to the panels. Its been 2 months, 9 phone calls, 1 no show from the inspector with out even calling us and I have been charged the loan payment the last 2 months and still getting a regular electric bill. Ive basically paid twice for electric the last two months. And still have no resolution. Ive called to get the panels taken down and I still have no resolution to that either. Solar system was installed 6-7 weeks ago and is still not been activated. No one is returning my calls and when I get someone on the phone Im told I will get a call back and never do. Either Activate system and compensate for lost time and first payment of loan for system or remove and fix damage to room of installed system.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have been told 2 times already that a check for the first payment was requested but has not been received. it was close to 2 weeks ago that a check was requested per **************** ext. 470. I have sent 2 emails since last week with no response. I also had a female call me on Monday 11/7 and was advised she would look into it. Still no response. We are now approaching 3 months that my system has been installed and not activated, I am going to have another payment due in 2 weeks.

When I signed up for sole with this company they offered me a $1000 sign on bonus and since I committed on the spot they said I get 6 months free. I called within the month and they reassured me that I was correct with the stuff I had listed. Fast forward months later they told me I was eligible for pay out after 60 days 60 days passed so I called and they informed me that I was given wrong information and that they do no offer 6 free months which is a lie because when I called they assured me it was in the computer for my sign on bonus and 6 free months. This happened in March and we are now in September with no payment and everytime I call I get a different story. Solar system was installed over a month ago. I'm being told there was an issue with permitting and my inspections/activation of system will take "Weeks" to get resolved. I was told at installation of panels it would only be 2-3 weeks **** Calls to company and salesman are coming back that they are looking into it and nothing else is being down. In the meantime there is a possible leak in my bedroom closet that was not there before solar install as the house is only 3 years old. No one is giving me answers and I'm to the point of having them remove panels and replace roof. I want system up and running and some minor compensation *************** by not having system activated) for delay in system not having inspection and activation completed in timeline they stated.Business Response

I was approached by an orbit solar energy provider by the name of ************************* who sold me solar energy for a fee. I agreed to pay a certain amount in exchange for energy through solar panels. This happened in January 2022, the payments started coming out in March and here we are come august and my solar panels on my roof are not connected. Every time I call the company I get the same lame excuse well open a ticket. I am tired of this and I just want my panels hooked up so that I can sell my house!Business Response

I am terribly sorry I got my solar panels with Orbit. They don't deliver what they promise. I financed my solar panels and got them in March 2022 I was told I was not going to have payments until October. Well I received my first invoice from Goodleap in April.I called to find out what was going on. I was told I was going to get a reimbursement check for the total payments until October. Long story short its 8/08 and they keep telling me that I am in the reimbursement list to receive my check. I talked to ****** from accounting and that's her story every time. Also they "create" tickets but no one calls you back. I am very dissatisfied with this company and I don't recommend it to no one.Business Response
