    They have not read my meter in months they are supposed to read it from their device from the street and they have not so we keep on getting estimated bills. I have spoken with SJ gas about this 3 times now since I noticed they were sending estimated bills. We are not home when they come, we have a dog and a pool and NJ state law states to keep gate locked. So we follow the law and still have issues!

    ZERO STARS The meter reader kicked my dog halfway across the patio.He claimed the dog (18 pounds) bit him and he had every right to defend himself. I guess he didn't see the security camera. The entire incident is on film. I agree that any meter reader has the right to be on the property. If you are afraid of two small dogs, then knock on the door and I'll remove the dogs. I asked him what company he worked for. (Nothing on his clothing or his on his person to identify him) He refused to tell me. He actually taunted me a he said, "I read your gas meter and I don't work for South ********** so good luck with that." I repeatedly asked for the name of the company he was working for. I went looking for a company truck parked somewhere so I could get a phone number. Never found a truck, either. Watched to see where he went so I could get a number off his truck to call his boss. He turned and accused me is harassing him and called the police, LOL. ONLY as he was on the phone with the police (a good ***** minutes after I first asked) did he tell me the name. He forgot to mention to the police how he got up in my face and yelled at me and cursed me out.The police arrive. He tells the police the dog latched onto his leg so he kicked it. I went back to the security cameras and looked, over and over. The dog NEVER bit him. It's clear as day on the video. His kick is absolutely on there as well as the audio is the dog yelping. Inexcusable behavior from this meter reader.

    I was told by ********************** that my bill for December was an estimated reading. When I asked why, she said the meter reader with ********* said the weather was bad that day on 12/15/22. The meter is located on the side of my house where the driveway is and it's about 10 steps away. This is just pure laziness and this person needs to be reprimanded. I have cameras around my house and I'm going to review 12/15/22 and see exactly what the weather was that day. It's still NO EXCUSE, do the job you're getting paid for!

    Millennium needs to train the people they ***********.They cant seem to open a gate .They dont finish the routes etc.It gets old after awhile.My gate is broken now because we have to leave it to a point they can see its open. Its never been locked since we bought the house because we have no key but because the guy said it was locked we did not get our meters read.So in order to get the meters read we have to open the gate 3 days before and 3 days after the reading date on the bill and because of that I have a broken gate.
