Store is never open. Batteries are proprietary. Can't buy them anywhere else. Now we have to get another pair of hearing aids from a different place to maintain them They charged $6000 at first. Then when we decided to leave - the price dropped to $300. Mmm go figure.HearingLife

Originally purchased AIDS through Hearing Life. During pandemic, they shut down all local offices without explanation or client communication. Result was no availability of supplies and no response from company. Beware that this business is prepared to leave you stranded.HearingLife

I had a complimentary hearing test on September 7, 2022. I was hesitant in making the appointment but was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, knowledge and courtesy extended to me by ***************************** at the **********, ** office. After going over different choices of hearing aids, I was very impressed with the Signia brand. I picked up my hearing aids on Friday, September 9, 2022. I realize that I will need time to adjust to wearing them but after several hours of finally "hearing" without having the volume on the ** way up, I am impressed and pleased with the results. Finally, there was NO pressure to purchase which I found refreshing. I listened, asked questions and decided, on my own, to go with Signia. Thank you ****** for making this purchase easy and stress free. 5 StarsHearingLife

I replied YES....I should be compensated in some way after having to call you, leave several voice meassage, finally you called....*** said what do you want....I replied another $20 gift card....again with a demeaning tone of voice said....WELL I CAN USE MY OWN MONEY....send you a $20 gift card in A CERTIFIED ENVELOPE....I want to make you sure you received IT.... *** STRESSED OVER & OVER THIS WOULD BE PAID BY HIM PERSONALLY.....then ENDED, AGAIN in a demeaning tone of voice.....DO NOT EVER CALL US, RESPOND TO ANY MAILINGS WE SEND YOU DO NOT QUUALIFY FOR ANY TYPE OF PROMOTION FROM US.....I don't send these mailings to myself....CORPORATE SENDS THEM.....I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY A ZERO RATING.I...have a membership with Costco....should I need a hearing test assessment....they will give it to me FREE....If I happen to be asked about this COMPANY, WOULD TELL THEM STAY AWAY FROM THEM....HearingLife

I want to warn anybody thinking of doing business with this company. Do not buy hearing aids from them. When I went in to the Hearing Life ****************************************************************, I told the Hearing Care Provider that I wanted to purchase an Oticon hearing aid. I have used Oticon for 16 years and wanted to replace my current Oticon aids with new Oticon aids. The hearing aid provider did not contact my insurance company to inquire about my coverage before she sold me new aids which I assumed were an Oticon product. She never once mentioned to me that she was selling me Sonic Hearing Aids. I only realized later at home when I got out the instruction book to learn more about the aids that they were a Sonic product. She said with my insurance my cost would be $4,399. I found out later that with my insurance coverage my out of pocket expense would have been $1,425 per aid. She never told me any of this. Not only did I not get the brand of hearing aid that I told her I wanted, but over paid for aids too. I am returning these aids tomorrow and have asked for a full refund. I've been told that she cannot refund my money at the time I return the aids. That the refund has to come from the corporate office. Now I'm wondering just how long I have to wait to receive this refund. By reading other reviews, I see where other people have been waiting up to 2+ months for their refund. What has happened to me borders on illegality and is certainly very unethical. I wish I could leave a "no star" rating because that's what this company deserves, but the computer won't let me.HearingLife

My wife ordered hearing aids from HearingLife. The audiologist was professional and did a good job. However, when my wife received her hearing aids she was told that her portion of the ****, after insurance paid their part, would be $3,100. When I received the *** from the insurance company, they said that our responsibility would be $1,700. Because HearingLife was a preferred provider, they agreed to the discount rate. HearingLife has ghosted us since we've been asking for the $1,400 that we overpaid. The office told us that corporate would be in touch with us. THEY HAVE NOT. Voice messages, because they don't have live support people apparently, go unresponded to. Failure to pay back the overpayment amounts to theft. I have filed a complaint to the State *************************** ******** of ******** Protection, since it has been over 2 months since they were overpaid.HearingLife

Worked here for almost a year now and I agree with the others.Micromanaging, manipulation, full on emotional abuse tactics, and minimum requirement of goals most call centers consider unrealistic. 1.6 stars on the BBB and you still treat us like sheep. Ive worked for companies that have much better ratings, and trust me, you can tell why.HearingLife
