On October 17th we ordered a refrigerator from the ****** store in ******, ** that was to be delivered the next day to ***********, **. We were supposed to get a phone call confirming when the delivery window was and we waited on the 18th at the delivery address for the refrigerator to show up. By 6pm there was still no delivery and no attempted contact by this delivery service. On the 19th we contacted ****** as to where the fridge was at and they told us that this company had a photograph of them attempting delivery after they supposedly made two attempts and had made a number of calls to the delivery cellphone. The photo was of a white vinyl house and not a two story brick apartment building and the phone that they claimed they called had no missed calls or messages on it. I know this sounds like a case of he said, they said, but there is no phone call of text message on the phone listed on the order and the cameras at the apartment complex prove that no delivery was attempted at the delivery address that shows up correctly in most maps and GPS programs.Business Response

Spirit delivered a washer and dryer with pedestals from ****** ******* brought the appliances into my laundry room/kitchen area and set them on the tile floor. They slid the appliances to one side to hook up the connections. They had not installed legs on the pedestals because they said they that there were none in the pedestal boxes. Without the feet, the metal on the bottom of the pedestals scratched my tile floor in several places. Spirit is denying my claim because the cabinets in the laundry room were not high enough to slide the washer and dryer in place. The floors were already scratched before they tried to move them into place so I do not understand what this has to do with not paying to fix my floor. The delivery worker took photos and called in to tell his supervisor that they had scratched the floor. I sent pictures and got them estimates to replace the floor. They will not respond to calls or emails.Business Response

The delivery team did not take photos of any damage or admit fault of any damage. The floors were already damaged before we got there, as stated in your complaint, that they were already scratched before the delivery team tried to move anything into place. The only thing reported at the time of delivery were the missing feet for the pedestals. The damages were done to the floor when moving the unit into place, which we did not do because the cabinets were not cut for us to install. The customer did the damage when installing.This is the reason the claim is being denied.Initial Complaint

The company was supposed to deliver our stove and take our old stove away on 9/18/22 between 4p-8p. They came at 11:02pm to deliver, but we were in bed asleep. We didn't hear our doorbell,our dogs didn't hear them nor did my video doorbell go off. They put in their notes that they were there to deliver but customers were asleep at 11:02pm. We didn't receive a phone call or voice-mail about them coming or arriving late due to any issues. We just want our stove delivered in a timely manner and at a decent time. We also feel we should receive a refund for this major inconvenience.Business Response

Scheduled dleivery of a replcement gas range for 9/12/22 between the hours of 9:45 and 12:45. Received a call from the delivery driver stating he could not find the address in GPS. Music playing in the backgrpound making it hard to hear. Asked driver to repeat himself due to the background noise. Again stated he couldn't find the address. Hous ehas been here since **** and we've had deliveries in the past. Driver was rude and the call was lost. ****** called back accusing us of hanging ** in his face. We told him that we DID NOT hang up he became argumentative. Finally told us that he found our house on his phone GPS. Asked if there were any special instructions. He was advised that due to the driveway configuration they would need to park at the bottom and walk the unit up as they have done numerous times in the past with other deliveries. ****** advised he couldnt walk that far from his truck. He the stated that he was refusing to deliver to us because of our rudness and attitude and huing up oin my wife. My wife was in absolute tears on how she was treated. Called *********** GE Delivery and ** and they were unable to assist us. Now we have no range, *********** has again disconnected the old range to be replaced incurring a service charge. If the range doesn't get delivered we have to cancel the service call Thursday to get the nbew range hooked up. We had both taken the day off from work to be here for delivery. Now I have to take more time off as my wife feels threatend and is uncomfortable with this delivery driver. We ahve also tried to contact Spirit, both main office and delivery drivers cell phoine but no one will take calls. ********** and ** also attempted to contact them with no answer.Business Response

We apologize for the difficulties and frustration you experienced with the delivery. Our delivery teams try their best to make accommodations,when possible, as well as communicate to the best of their ability to make their deliveries run smoothly. After some hostile phone interactions, the driver arrived onsite, a verbal altercation ensued, and he chose to leave before any further actions were taken. I am rejecting this response because:
The altercation on the phone was on the part of the driver after he accused my wife of hanging up on him. He declined to deliver. He showed up anyway and refused to pick up the old appliance. This was left out of his paintwork but was on ours so I have no issue with that. Driver became confrontational in the driveway. Started to video me and was advised not to as I did not consent to it. Driver was confrontational from the start. ****** then drove around the neighborhood twice stopping across the street taking photos of our house. Not sure if this was meant to intimidate us or not. They did not leave on their own accord. I declined delivery as they refused to pick up the old appliance as we paid for the service Also when driver was walking away he called me a me an a****** I asked him what he said and he repeated it. We are still without a range and Im assuming its still on the truck. Company needs to take care of this matter and not send this driver back. The other delivery attempt, with a defective unit three weeks ago had pleasant and profession people delivering the range. This is not on us. My wife was in absolute tears after talking to the driver. This isnt the actions of someone that was confrontational. Police were also called by me as we didnt feel safe after the drivers actions. After this interaction ********** had assured this will be delivered and the old one picked up. I am not expecting a favorable reply from the company as Ive done research and issue like this have been reported before.

Bought a freezer from Lowes was supposed to be delivered on Sept.6th between 4pm and 8pm.. someone was at home and a dog that barks at any little noise was there also..found a note on the door stating no one answered the door..There was a doorbell right beside the door that they did not ring..When called about this was spoken to very rudely and was told they didn't know when it would be delivered..Have tried calling multiple times with no answer.. Sat on hold for 30min. before hanging up.Business Response

Our delivery team attempted to deliver the freezer to your home but found no one home during the attempt. Once they leave a location, they are routed to another delivery therefore, they would have no knowledge of when that delivery would be rescheduled. ***** has reached back out to you to reschedule the delivery.
