The office Manager at KOP ***** ****** is a liar and she gate keeps appointments for African Americans. This woman lied and stated insurance denied my claim when I spoke to my insurance and they never received my claim for emergency services. This was a year ago. I am now pregnant in need of urgent care because I am high risk and this SICK WOMAN is refusing to allow me to see my doctor. This woman did not offer to look into the balance, to resubmit to insurance or to place me on a payment plan for care. She also told me that it is inappropriate for me to walk into the office to request an appointment and that is recorded! I will be doing everything in my power to make sure this company is aware of how she handles urgent issues and deals with women of color.

This company should remove the phrase "Women's Health" from their name! They have left hundreds , if not more, of pregnant women without care due to a pettiness when they didn't get the raise they wanted from a major insurance provider! Axia chose to drop UnitedHealthcare when they didn't get the money they wanted and now pregnant patients are forced to either pay out of pocket, pay out of network fees or find a new provider...which is impossible to do if you are already expecting. I will never see a provider under Axia again! Atrocious!!

I would leave a 0 star review if possible. I would never recommend Axia Womens Health to any patient. After my healthcare provider left the practice in 2021, I was neglected and ignored and there was not a single attempt to transfer my care. Instead, I continued to receive annual bills to store my embryos. Since August 2022 Ive been emailing the patient portal and calling various Axia numbers, leaving messages, asking for help and a call back to transfer my embryos to my current provider. All of my communications were ignored, which forced me and my current provider to take things into our own hands and facilitate the transfer on our end. After months of trying to transfer my medical records on the back end and no response from Axia, in July 2023 I received a new bill for another year of embryo storage. I immediately responded notifying Axia that the bill is in dispute and I would not pay, since *** been attempting to transfer my embryos out for almost the last year. Only when I said I was disputing a new year of service/bill did I finally get a response. Unfortunately Axia continued to delay on their end and my current provider and I did not complete the transfer out until Sept ****. At this point I have nothing in storage at Axia, yet today received a notice from a debt collector that I need to pay for an entire year of storage - July 2023-****. Not only was I ignored and neglected as a patient, but I am continuing to be billed and now sent to collections when no services are being rendered. In fact, if someone would have assisted me in the first instance instead of ignoring me, my embryos would have been transferred out a year ago. This is absolutely unacceptable.
