    On March 5, 2025, Captain's Tree Service LLC performed tree maintenance on three trees in my backyard. They completed the agreed services. I paid in full $2600 cash at the completion of the job on March 5, 2025. After their exit from my backyard, I noticed my vinyl privacy fence was damaged. I promptly messaged the company and sent pictures of the damage. I spoke with Alonso personally via phone and also via text. He agreed to have his workers fix the fence. However, after I explained the warranty information pertaining to my fence, my concerns were ignored. I spoke with Bob from *** ***** ***** (my vinyl fence company). He also spoke with Alonso and explained anyone working on the privacy fence besides *** ***** ***** would void my warranty. I reached out to Captain's Tree Service LLC again on March 11, 2025 with a receipt detailing the costs incurred for their damages. I did not receive a response. I paid out of pocket for the damages and am asking for a refund. I understand accidents happen and have been very understanding during this process.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Captain's Tree Service responded to my complaint.  Alonso came to my home and discussed his concerns with me.  He believes my vinyl fence is defective in the the damaged areas.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if he believes my fence is defective, then that is his opinion.  I do not agree with his assumption.  My fence has been installed for 7 years and have never had a problem with any panels.  The representative from the fence company that installed the fence does not believe it is defective.  That being said, I believe we will have to agree to disagree regarding my damaged fence.  I would like to have the case closed without resolution.  I wish Captain's Tree Service success with their business.
