This company sell products online. I made a large order of around $1500. Multiple products came in defective. Instead of sending out new products and taking the old ones back to see there manufacturing mistakes they just blame all the issues on the customer

Customer made a homemade creation out of a ride-on toy car. He checkmarked a box on our website saying he would notify us before purchasing if he had any homemade modifications. He did not.

He then blew up some of the parts when he plugged them in. No surprise to us. Yet we still offered him replacement parts at cost and limitless advice on how to get his jalopy working. He refused our offer and has put the amount owed into credit card dispute, taking no ownership for his errors. We are sending that amount into Collections. This matter is closed unless he cancels his credit card disputes and agrees to work with us.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

This company, ml toys is a aftermarket company that deals 100% with modifying a power wheels. I used all original power wheels mounting spots mounting screws in there original mounting holes. All I did was remove the original parts and install this company’s parts. The motors they sent out were assembled incorrectly and when I tried turning them on they were locked up and the internal fans blew apart. The only way for that to happen was for the fan to be hitting the case. The gear box that the motor was attached to was assembled by ml toys. They sent out defective parts that they put together and were destroyed the second the intended voltage that these motors were built for. That was sent to them through a module that ml toys designed and built for this application. Those motors were damaged. The motors still work and move but do not have a cooling fans, so they will overheat and fail. Everything is there parts all assembled by them with power sent to them with there battery’s. But they won’t admit there failure, and even though I just bought the parts, they want to sell me more. I even offered to send the original motors with gear boxes still attached Bach so they could see what went wrong but all they did to that was try to upsell me parts and labor. I’ve never been talked to by a company like this. The only modification I had to do to the power wheel that there talking about is the battery’s are different than the original ones so I had to cut away some plastic and make my own battery box and install new wires to run from there battery’s to there control module. The battery’s are wired for 24v which is higher than the original 12v that power wheels sells. But I ordered the 24v motor/gear box assembly’s and there 24v control module. I’ve been a diesel mechanic for 20 years and specialize in electrical diagnostics. I deal with wiring all day everyday. Everything here is wired correctly, and running a 24v motor with 24v couldn’t cause the fan to blow apart. The only way is for the stator to be miss aligned and since they were the only ones to touch that, they are the only ones who could be at fault. It’s sad to see a company starting out do this. They sell there motors for $91 for a match set. I’ve never heard of a company that sell this stuff so I was excited and ordered over $1500 worth of parts from them. I had already started telling other dads about them so they could order stuff for there kids. After dealing with there customer service I have called all my friends back warning them not to spend any money with them. Since there a one off company I wanted them to succeed because the idea of what there doing is awesome. But after dealing with them I hope other company’s start selling kits like this and ml toys go out of buisness

    Regards,
