      I have been a customer of ******************** since ****. I am on a budget with plan them. At the end of the past season I received a bill of $1000. When I went thru my account for the year I saw that they had delivered 274 gallons of propane on March 31st and charged $1785. They charged me $**** a gal for the propane. 3 months earlier I was charged $3.24 a gal. In March propane was $3.24 in Pa. They charged me $**** a gal. I even called some of their competitors & some were only charging $2.99 a gal. I called suburban twice bc Im not paying that price per gal. ********** I was told I used more propane this season than last. My tank was 1/2 full when they came in March & put 274 gallons in it. I didnt need 274 gallons of propane right before summer. I did not use more propane they just charged me double the price for it. Every time *** tried to call they say they need time to review my account. 3 weeks Ive been waiting for someone to help me with no response. 17 years Ive been a loyal customer & this is what I get for it. At this point Id like them to come take the propane back if possible bc Im not paying **** a gallon for it. This is just price gouging. My next call will be the attorney general. This should be illegal

      Our local store spoke this customer yesterday. She thanked us for really good service for so many years. We rebilled a March 2022 delivery and reviewed that she receives 2 deliveries a year and confirmed the timing of those deliveries. We recalculated customer's budget payment starting in August 2022. With the rebilling complete we were able to lower the monthly budget amount. Customer was satisfied and will be mailing in her ****************** budget payments.

      Horrible customer service! Representative answered the phone when I called today and instantly said "I can't hear You call back on a different number" I had a question about yet another ****. On the second phone call I managed to keep the representative on the phone. They explained that not only do they charge an equipment fee but s fee for not using propane. Included was a truck delivery charge and a late fee. I just received the **** on 8/1 and the late fee was from 7/24. They obviously hold the **** until it will be late getting to the customers so they can charge a late fee. They actually came out to fill the tank but for some reason they didn't. I suppose they make more money charging all the fees than propane. I want another propane company but unfortunately they own the tanks for my home and my rental. I would appreciate an apology for the rude customer service and a credit for my late fee that I had nothing to do with.

      We spoke with **************** and apologized for any inconveniences. We would take care of the Minimum **** charges and get him a delivery at a discounted price so that the gas we put in is about the same cost as the minimum ****. He was extremely happy with that. He was extremely appreciative of my call, as he stated that he really did not expect to hear from us, and appreciates the **************** which I provided to him. He stated that after we spoke, Suburban Propane is in a better light with him now. Finally, I left him my work cell number so he can contact me if he ever has any concerns that need to be addressed.
