This company paid out a Bodily Injury claim for a literal tap in a parking lot. I asked the woman in the car (not even her car- her daughters) over and over if she was okay- there wasn't even damage to my vehicle. She said she was fine, she even asked me to call the people in the building to come out with a ballot so she could vote. Then she lied to my insurance and said she went to the hospital. This insurance company never even informed me of her claim- I found out 2 or 3 years later. When I spoke to them they said they don't need to consult their own client to pay out on something like that. The agent admitted she only paid it because the woman was elderly and it would look bad in court. My insurance rates are sky high for the next several years because they never even asked me about this. I will never use this company again and will tell everyone I know to steer clear as well.

This company is pathetic. They just add random people to your policy and charge you what they feel. Pathetic.

Our car was struck by another car on July 11, 2023. We reported the claim immediately to our insurance carrier, who, in turn, reported it to Plymouth Rock Assurance, the insurer for the car that struck us. The car that struck us shot out across the street, despite having a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle admitted that she was distracted by a pedestrian and therefore drove across the street into oncoming traffic without looking to see if any cars were coming. This is all in the police report, which states that vehicle driven by Plymouth Rock's insured was "at fault for the accident and the driver was issued a summons for Careless Driving."Despite this police finding and its insured's admission of liability, more than a month after the accident -- and only after I demanded a finding-- did Plymouth Rock advise that it would only accept a finding of 60% liability against its insured.Given the evidence, it can only be concluded that Plymouth Rock's protocol reflects an egregious example of Bad Faith to delay or avoid payout on its policy.

Never buy home or auto insurance with Plymouth Rock. They are liars and thieves, my wife and I have a policy with them for home and jewelry and paid on time, never missed a payment. But when we have a claim and needed help they denied our claim with a bunch of BS excuse. They are a ***************** and all they want is your money and your eyes closed, so they can take advantage of normal people and just try to make ends meet. I wish there was a negative star because they done even deserve 1. Plymouth Rock insurance needs to be investigated for the ethics.

STAR RATING ZERO minus a million.DON'T - DON'T - DON'T ever purchase from this company. I have had them for years, my first accident, and my car is 8 weeks in with NO RESPONSE from them for a supplemental. DO NOT purchase insurance from them! They do NOT want to pay the claim. They take a look at your vehicle, claim it cost substantially less than it does to repair, and then don't respond to the shop or me when trying to get the claim completed. The adjuster who originally looked at the car won't return calls, PR outsourced the supplement and that company won't write it. DO NOT use this company. If you have them, cancel and get another company to cover you.

They seem to have no intention of paying their claims. My Tesla Model 3 backed into by one of their insured. They e-mailed my an appraisal for the cost of the repairs. The certified Tesla body shops in my area won't even begin the repairs because the appraisal is substantially too low. They have stated the labor rate is well below what is required and Plymouth Rock is listing that a refurbished front bumper cover must be used for the repairs. Both of the local certified Tesla repair shops have stated they cannot use refurbished or used front bumper covers.I've tried contacting the Plymouth Rock appraiser, and he doesn't return my messages. I've tried contacting my claims adjuster, and he doesn't return my messages. I've left a message for the "claims adjuster supervisor". He hasn't returned my message.I have never received a written acknowledgment that the claim has been approved. I have never received initial payment. I cannot get my car repaired under these circumstances. I truly don't believe Plymouth Rock Assurance plans on covering the claim.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Plymouth Rock is a whole scam. My monthly payment was due October 9th, I get paid biweekly, Im a single mother, inflation among other things dont allow me to live comfortably anymore and Plymouth Rock has made this past week a nightmare. I was sent a notice of cancellation on October 15th. I made a payment on October 13th of $150 and another payment on October 27th of $171 to equal $321 for the months of October AND November for car insurance. I then sent an email stating I dont get paid again until November 11th which is only 2 days after Novembers payment should have been due. They cancelled my policy with no option to reinstate. No rhyme or readable reason why. I PAID YOU. You took the money. I have proof you took it from my account. When I called, a woman picked up the phone hit with a sassy attitude making no sense or offered a valid reason why my insurance was cancelled. Just told me we sent you a notice of cancellation and that $320 is for October and November I told her I already paid you then so why was my policy cancelled? She said when you reached out we told you that you needed to pay $84.50 before November 6th to keep the policy active I caught her in the lie and reiterated that she JUST told me the $320 was for October and November so why should I have to pay additionally? No answer. My bill wasnt even due until the 9th of November but they cancelled my policy on the 6th? Its completely ridiculous how theyre scamming people out of money and just going to cancel my auto insurance like that. You should be ashamed. Punishing people for your mistakes.

We are writing in response to your November 11, 2022, inquiry regarding the above-referenced file. Please allow me to provide the following information. Our insured, **************************************************************, was enrolled in Plymouth Rocks electronic funds transfer program, in which scheduled monthly premiums were withdrawn from her checking account. In accordance with ********************************************* payment schedule, a withdrawal for $320.06 was scheduled for October 9, 2022. On October 14, 2022, Plymouth Rock received notice that the payment for $320.06 was returned due to insufficient funds. On October 15, 2022, a notice of cancellation was issued due to nonpayment of premium in the amount of $320.06 due by November 6, 2022. Although ********************************************* made an unscheduled payment of $150 on October 13, it was credited to her next installment in November. ********************************************* also made another unscheduled payment on October 27 for $171. When unscheduled payments are received, the payments are credited toward the next installment and not to current payment. ********************************************* disputed the credit card payments of $150 made on October 13 and $171 made on October 27 with the credit card company. The dispute resulted in the payments being reversed to ********************-Siegenthalers credit card on November 11; resulting in a premium balance due of $330.95 for insurance coverage already provided but for which payment has not been received. Upon review of ********************************** automobile policy, we are willing to reinstate the policy upon receipt of installment payments for September, October and November, totaling $483.09. We attempted to reach ********************************************* on November 16, 2022, with no response.

On October 10, 2022, our insured, *********************, purchased an automobile insurance policy, effective the same day. Based on a new business underwriting review, a questionnaire was forwarded to ************ on October 11, 2022, requesting supporting documentation for an affinity discount and to confirm household residents. The letter advised that the failure to provide the requested information by October 25, 2022, may result in the cancellation of his policy. As ************ did not provide a completed response by the October 25 due date, a Notice of Cancellation was issued, effective November 30, 2022.

I informed them over the phone that the person they were referring to has passed away they said ok no problem. This was BEFORE the notice was sent to me. Then I called again when I received this notice telling them that person on the form they wanted information about is dead. They then said oh no we want everyone you live with their drive license number. I informed them thats none of mine or their business what other peoples driver licenses numbers are as this is my account not anyone elses.
