      The Record has a D minus rating with the BBB! I did not think they went that low. They send bills all of the time and hope that readers will get confused and pay. They cut out so many features over the years and just ***** people. Too bad after they pink slipped so many employees that they did not just shut down

      I've been a subscriber to The Record for many years. If you are a subscriber, please pay attention to the billing practices of this company, as the price seems to vary from year-to-year. When you log onto your account information, the rate shows $22/yr. That would be an excellent price for delivery Monday - Friday and Sunday, plus the eEdition of the paper. Even if that was an online error and it was per month, I would gladly pay it, not the $387 that I was charged without any notice given of renewal (even managed to charge on an outdated credit card). They refused to honor that price or connect me with a supervisor, so I cancelled the newspaper. They provide the worse customer service if you can even call it that.

      For over one year now I have had issues with delivery and have contacted the company several times and the answer I get is that they are working diligently to resolve the issue with the Carrier. I even switched for getting the paper delivered 6 days a week to three days figuring maybe with less day to deliver that would help but not. In the last two weeks I only got the Sunday paper. Once my subscription runs out and all the credits for non-delivery are used I'm done with this company I'll get my news elsewhere.

      I attempted to subscribe to this paper. I logged in numerous times but was never able to read all of the articles. Additionally, there is no easy way to cancel the service. You need to call so that they can argue with you about canceling the service that they don't provide. Federal law requires that companies provide simple solutions to canceling, **.com definitely does not offer any simple solutions.

      Just adding my voice to everybody elses. Subscribe to get the paper delivered to my door twice a week, didnt happen. All they did was credit me forward. Now Im trying to get my money back and Ive gotten about five different responses. Including were going to keep your money until you start your subscription again someday. Two others said I would get a refund and the third said I owed them money.I also tried messaging them on ******* and didnt even get a response.I cant even access my bill or account information online after I canceled my subscription.The ****** record used to be good, that was a long time ago.
