    This place is a scam!! I had issues with my range cooktop at the beginning of November. I called ************************************************************** to report the issue because I have had the unit for less than a year. ******** directed me towards their service provider, Dalton Service Center. I informed Dalton that the cooktop was broken and that I had purchased a 5-year warranty. Dalton Service Center assured me that they would order a new range top and schedule the installation once it arrived. After waiting for about 4-5 weeks, they finally called me to schedule the installation. The service technicians were professional and the installation went smoothly. However, I was disappointed to find out that the new range top they installed was damaged, most likely during shipping. The service technicians apologized and informed me that they would order another range top and install it once it arrived. Throughout this whole process, I believed that the warranty would cover the cost, and there was no mention of payment. Fast forward to today, January 26th, I received a call from Dalton Service Center to schedule the installation of the second range top. However, there was a catch - they informed me that before the installation, they needed to collect $800 for the first visit!! I was shocked and frustrated to learn that I had to pay $800 for something that I thought was covered under warranty. It was a big mistake to purchase my appliances from **************************************************************. I would have been okay with paying if they had communicated the payment upfront instead of surprising me after installing another damaged unit.

    Thank you for your feedback. As it was communicated to you a warranty only covers manufacture defects. You dropped something on your glass cooktop and broke it. This is not covered by the manufacture or any extended warranty. Not only where you informed of the prices verbally but in writing as well which you even signed. Since this is not satisfactory for you we will close this at no charge and return any parts to the factory.

    Called them to come out and do work on our subzero refrigerator which had malfunctioned. They came out and replaced two parts in refrigerator. It initially started cooling again. Later that same day unit was already malfunctioning again so we called them Back the next day. They told us their earliest appointment to return was in another week so we scheduled that appointment. Day of the appointment comes and no one shows up so I called to find out what's going on. Left on hold forever when I finally talk to someone they say we were never scheduled for an appointment. When I tell them we had already scheduled an appointment for today a week ago and I've been without a refrigerator for this whole time they could not have been less concerned. They said they would schedule us for another week out. This is their mistake and when I pointed That out they were completely apathetic.We're stuck at this point because further visits for them will be covered under their 90 day warranty but if I go with a different company I'll have to pay for a complete new service call. Once this issue was resolved will not use this company again. I will post my experience on every review site that I can find to ensure people are aware of the type of business this is.
