    In December 2022, I signed a contract with Sunternal for a solar panel system, main panel upgrade, and electric vehicle plug for about $29,000. A couple weeks later, I received a call from my Sunternal salesperson, telling me that in order to install the EV plug, they would need to trench through my yard and would need to add $5,000 to the total cost of the project. When Sunternal came to install the system, they determined that they would not need to trench the yard after all. I have received $2,000 back from them, but I have been unsuccessful in getting the remaining $3,000 back from the trenching that never occurred.
