    We are a military family who trusted our property with First Place Leasing Clovis, NM as a property management company. We have had a very rough experience.

    Since December of 2021 the new tenant allowed by FPL to rent our home has caused problems.

    In August the tenant was served an eviction notice but it was not enforced. Despite lack of payment the tenant still remains and no hearing has-been before the judge.

    We have not been able to speak with our property manager in a timely manner. Weeks and months go by without correspondence to our concerns and questions. We want this tenant out so we can sell our house. The property managers always have conflicting information.

    One of the property managers is doing deals with the tenant on her personal phone via calls and texts. She told us this directly. But we were told we couldn't have the personal number of our property manager even to speak to them regarding our property. The reason the tenant has not been evicted is because of personal deals being made behind the scenes and not by the agreement signed by us the owners. This unprofessional practice is causing us lost money, stress, and hindering our ability to sell our home.

    They are not abiding by the rules in our contract that we signed that was created by FPL. We cannot get in contact with them by phone or email without very delayed responses or none at all.

    Hello,

    None of the information provided is correct, as soon as the tenant was delinquent and the owner asked us to start eviction proceedings we did, at the same time the owner also notified us that they would be transferring to a new management company. We evicted the tenant provided the tenant a complete and itemized statement of all charges and since to them with in 30 days. We also closed out the property management and provided the owner a complete and accurate accounting wiihin 30 days. Everything was completed and done professionally and correctly. The owner has received all documents provided timely. I know it is frustrating when a tenant does not pay and creates a hardship on the owner. But all procedures and steps were taken correctly, we manage over 400 units and our systems and procedures are very systematic. The past tenant balance was sent to a collection company and assigned to the owner as the person to pay if and when they are able to collect any funds. Secondly the information in this complaint is in correct ***** ***** ***** ******** does not manage or lease properties. The company they hired and who mangaged the property was First Place Leasing.
