      ******* will not release my work truck. I took it to her shop for repairs. I paid her the balance on 10-12. ******* advised the truck was ready for pickup. I flew my driver down from Indianapolis. ******* informed the driver the truck had a squeal, the driver ask to hear the noise or if she could show him what noise she was talking about. ******* refused, to him no he would have to wait a few days but she didn’t know exactly how many day it would be. I called her and asked if the driver could just take the truck since it was paid for she refused said we had to sign a waiver advising us of the noise. The problem is we never heard any noise, we never declined further repairs, ******* never gave us a waiver to sign. ******* has never produced a waiver or any evidence of the noise and she is refusing to release my truck to me. ******* will not let me speak to anyone else in this corporation and I have asked several times. I just want my truck back I live in Indianapolis 21 hours away I have paid her in full. I’m scared for my life to come down there and get my truck and I will have a tow truck pick it up. I usually drive once a week to New Mexico and Phoenix but I will never come back that far out of fear of this company and one of the policeman officer ****** whom I’ve contacted several times and he just refuses to listen to me or take my complaint. I’m under the impression just because I don’t live there in Moriarty he doesn’t even care to hear my complaints. Someone please help me.

      Customer refused to fix truck properly. We advised customer that driving the truck the way she wanted to leave it was not advised and went against Industry standards, as well as the manufacturers recommendations.

       

      Customer was very very rude and insulting.  She even made Several racist comments to us.

      we explained to the customer that she would have to sign a waiver, releasing, 8 to 8, Auto Care, 8 to 8, Incorporated, employees, shareholders from any liability or responsibility for them, taking the truck without the proper repairs. She refused to sign the waiver. Therefore, we refused to release the truck. She called the police on us. She was very hateful and ugly with the police officers as well yelling and screaming. Mind you I have all of this on video, HD video and audio in the office. We have also subpoenaed a copy of the video from the police officer’s camera. After they instructed her that we did not have to release the vehicle without full payment and signing of the waiver they told them they had to leave the property. She then began calling and texting over and over. We have over 43 text messages and missed calls from her. We explained her her we would not be speaking to her over the phone. Any correspondence would need to be done via text message or email.

      she then two days later, tried to call the same police department and report the truck stolen. They advised her that she knew exactly where the vehicle was and that she needed to pay her bill and she needed to sign the waiver in order for us to release the truck truck. She then went and tried to get an attorney. Lied to the attorney about the entire situation, after speaking with the attorney and sending him the proper documents and the video, he also refused to do business with her. We received an email from her 11/10/2023 asking to pay her bill and she agreed to finally sign the waiver. We allowed her to do that she was charged a storage fee. The insurance company picked up the truck on 11/11/2023.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I will not go back and forth with *******. This is how she manipulates her customers. She has did nothing but lie and when I questioned her about anything she added more charges. She and the police made me sign a false agreement in order to get my truck back. I’ve never been in her shop she can’t tell you what I look like I have all the audio and text messages because I had my driver record her and the police who by the way would not help me or my driver at all.  I would not  ever disrespect law enforcement I also have audio of phone calls with the officer whom I called for help but I never got. The same lawyer ******* is speaking about is HELPING ME NOW moving forward with this matter. This is a civil matter is what I was constantly told by the only officer they would send every time I called. In the last 4 months there has been numerous complaints against ******* and this company unethical practices. More than five, it was just unfortunate I didn’t read them before I had my truck towed there. I have video, audio and numerous text messages that will be used for evidence.
